The message in Dutch is mainly a confirmation that they have received your online booking. It also says that you will be contacted as soon as your booking has been processed - so no, your room is not yet booked.

Ooij is little village approx 12 km outside Nijmegen. It is in beautiful surroundings (in case you are interestes) and it is very quiet. Taxi's are not cheap here - will probably cost you 15 Euro at least to get to Ooij from the central station in Nijmegen.

i would happily pay the taxi fare at the minute as i dont even have a hotel to stay in!! this might sound stupid but is it easy to get a taxi even late at night to there. i only ask because when we went to pistoia last year there was only about three taxis in the town and they stopped running at 1am and we were stranded miles away from our hotel. luckily this amazing couple that ran a pub there gave us a lift back!!! restored all my faith in human nature i tell ya!

For all you non-dutch people out there:

    - Trains/Busses
I've been to concerts in Nijmegen a couple of times now and I can confirm that normally the dutch national railcompany (NS) will have extra trains to (most of) the big cities in the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Utrecht at the least). Also there will be (free?) busses from the venue to the trainstation, so no worries about that.

    - Hotels
As for hotels, in Nijmegen all hotels probably will be fully booked, but since the railway company will be running extra trains to Utrecht and Amsterdam, you could also consider getting a room at one of those cities.

Be advised: since the concert will end late in the evening and the extra trains will take some time to get to their destinations, please be certain that you get a room at a hotel that allows you to enter late as some hotels in Holland close their doors at night.

By the way: don't know if it's mentioned allready, but there are strong rumours going around that Queens Of The Stone Age will be the third support act. They play Belgium the day after and the tour doesn't show a venue for June 28th yet.

they finally corrected the mistake about Werchter (they'd said they were playing the 28th)

where did you get that rumour from?

Berg en Dal is something like a suburb...on a hill. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's not close to the park.
