  • Dear PJ Fans,

After more than 16 years waiting, I get to see Pearl Jam.

I've been a die-hard fan of PJ's since Ten. I was really young when Ten was released and it took me a while to grow up and get a decent job. When I finally had the money to travel to a Pearl Jam venue I couldn't get tickets or dates to work for me. Keep in mind that PJ only did a South American tour until 2005, and skipped Colombia (why ooh why?).

In 2007, everything is working for me. My brother lives in Amsterdam, my girlfriend is traveling with me, and the concert in Nijmegen will be the best concert Pearl Jam does in Europe.

It will be the best because it is one of the biggest venues, it is a sort-of-festival but not too big, and PJ is just waiting to repeat Pinkpop (so I'm told). We'll get a great and long setlist, watch the sunset and get crazy in the summer.

Thanks PJ and thanks to everyone for keeping them alive for so long.

Daniel.. brace yourself for the time of your life! if pearl jam is planning to repeat the impression they made in landgraaf 92, with their current catalog, you are in for one hell of a treat, which hopefully you'll be in any ways..

ahhhhhhhhh...my own personal shade.....thanks my friend!
    dont mention it, my pleasure
oh and so......incubus and kings of leon.........?
so all we need is the other support act for the full billing. i'd guess none will play longer than 45 - 60 minutes...thus if it starts at 5, still plenty of time for a loooooonnnnng pearl jam show. :):):)
Let's make 'm play till the sun rises again! it is a tight schedule tho.. I hope the tunes start early. Let's hope Chris Cornell wants to promote his solo album and tags along! the mere dream..

maybe not the best ever, but definitely up there with the great american albums. I think their wild lifestyle kinda overshadows their true abilities as musicians. BSSM is an aaaawesome song, the bassline, oooooh!
