Nijmegen seems like a really pretty place actually! It's the oldest town in Holland, really pittoresque, from what i've seen from photos :p
    http://www.vvvnijmegen.nl/default_uk.cfm check that out
I'll be there the night before as well , we'll see you at the pub :)

You should definitely go to the pub called "De Blauwe Hand" (the blue hand) which is the oldest pub in Nijmegen (established the 15th century). They have a wonderfull selection of beers!

Maybe we should set up a meeting!

wow, a pub with a history, i like that!
i think as we get closer to "The Event", we'll have to organize a meeting at that pub, the night before :)
that is as long as the landlady at the B&B we're staying lets us out late at night. She sounded pretty strict on the phone:D

    Hi!

I´m from Sweden, and as you know we didn´t get a show this time either...

I´m thinking of going to Holland instead.

    Are there any tickets left?

If yes, where do I get them?

    Thank you!

what is the status on the supporting bands?
if I got it right only incubus is confirmed (but later taken back?)
did some new names got out now with the line-up of werchter filling up?

see...head down a day early? or stay over and explore the next day? decisions, decisions......but no matter what, looks to be a BRILLIANT time!

AND i get to hang with obi?! tres cool.

    :D
It all depends on how early you want to head to the festival grounds... We could all meet in the center somewhere for a drink.

About the weather, last year we had the longest heat wave ever, statistically that wouldn't be good for this year, but since the weather is really weird lately I think it'll be a very nice day weather wise.

Thanks for the answers! I'm definitely looking forward to Nijmegen even more now, wahey!

We had the choice either to stay in Amsterdam and head to Nijmegen on the day of the gig. But we decided to go straight to Nigmegen because we'll get free hotel nights there. Plus the time is way too short for our first visit to Amsterdam anyway.

A meeting in a pub would be really cool. Let's talk about it closer to the date. You'll find us in a pub with pints anyway, haha...

dunno....guess play it all by ear. and hey, i may just travel down with you to nijmegen, so i'll be easy to find. :p

man, i hope it's not hot..i really can't stand hot weather, and new york in june is HOT...so i'd be more than happy to go somewhere that's a bit cooler.

however, as it'll be the last of my pearl jam adventures in europe this go round, it's sure to be a great/special time!

and......ABSOLUTELY.....totally hope we get some before or after meet-up going...seems too lovely a place to not stop and visit in just a bit. :) so someone familar should pick a place for certain!
