    I've never been to Chi town and I'm flying in on Friday early and staying until Monday, my hotel is .5 miles away from Grant Park, does anyone know if there are any good local dives for after the music stops?

    I want to get to the front! I dont care if I am squashed. The last time I saw PJ was Lolla '92 and I definitely did NOT have anywhere near the front row, or the 30th row for that matter. I want to experience what many of you already have. Hopefully........

    I didnt read through this thread, but will there be a meet up with pit members? there are a shitload going. i'm pleasantly surprised.

    flying in Saturday and staying until the 8th.

    only going to Sunday of Lollapalooza, but would love to hangout before or after Sunday.

    What time do the gates open on Sunday?

    I have so many bands that I want to see, not sure when a good time to pre-party would be. Could even do something on Friday for those of us who are going to be there for all 3 days.

    I'll be sporting my "message pit" button.

    yeah.. that's why I was thinking a post-party after the PJ show might be the best bet for a big ole party.. even Friday there are bands playing after Lolla I think?
