Just wondered if you are going to narrow down to the final two and then have a second vote for those votes spread out on other dates.
I think having the party after the PJ show is a bad idea IMO. Most of us will be spent from enjoying 3-4 straight days of partying, friends, and music. Also I'm sure many of the travelers will be leaving early in the morning. Also, who would leave the PJ set early to set up this after party? Just my 2 cents.

When would be a better time then though? That's the biggest problem we're having - deciding a day/time that would fit the majority of people's schedule

I'd say Thursday night, but who knows how many people will be in town? I'd say mid-day on Sunday makes the most sense. Maybe have it end before Kings Of Leon starts or something.

Why not both Thursday and again on Sunday before KOL?
JA: Why do I get the Ticketmaster question?

Unless we do a brunch type of thing, I think most people will want to hang around about or near the stage...
Laura, would they allow you and other, as founders of Wishlist Foundation, set up a booth near the PJ stage (or wherever close where the line would be)?
There would be a bunch of booths in the area, correct?
I'm sure you thought of that already...
That way you'd get more support from the die-hards.
Also have someone else do it in another place where it's more in the open for various fans who may be curious about the cause.
Heck, may even turn them into new pj fans in the process??

Hey Mel
I doubt they'd let us set up by the stage, but rather in "Tent City" the mass of tents that are around the middle of the festival (stages on each end, stuff in the middle). The only problem is... it's a pretty big responsibility to man a tent for the entire festival, and none of us really want to be tied to the tent the whole time and not be able to see other music, etc... Plus.. Lolla hasn't even gotten back to us yet about it! (slowpokes!)

Hi!
Gotcha... wish there was an easy solution!
It's quite challenging for a festival event.
Looks like you’ve thought of every possibility…sorry I couldn’t be of any help. I still haven’t signed up for membership with WLF. *ducks*
Keep calling them!
Perhaps you could get volunteers to do different time slots for the tent city? That way no one gets overwhelmed with responsibilities?
Even 30 minutes per person would help a lot?
I’ll keep an eye out on this thread for updates!

You should hold the rail spot with Framer. Then once it starts surging I'll take over and hold the crowd back for everyone.

Got free time between shows? Ok, meet on the west side of Buckingham Fountain and tug your ear three times to indicate your Pearl Jam fanliness. heh.
