    I love both those middle names. Apparently my first name has Hebrew origins...but I'm not Hebrew...my mom heard it on the TV and liked it :lol: Only my grandmom called me with my middle name...but hey - maybe we should start doing it for everyone. Why should Barack get special treatment? :evil:

    neither my first name, nor my middle name give any indication of my familys background. are you even aware that the name hussein can be traced back to the arabic word hasuna, meaning to be good? you people are clutching at straws.

    Sorry, Godfather, that just doesn't make sense. If you trace my family name you might find that I come from Amish background. My father was born 100% Amish. That did not influence me to do or not do the things I do or the decisions I make. I drive a car, use a computer, play an electric guitar, use a toaster, etc, etc. And that's just after one generation. People don't make decisions based on their heritage.

    people can be very much influenced by their heritage. tho it doesnt mean they will be. how far back into that heritage are we willing to go in order to pin someones decisions on it, in order to say i told you so,is another matter.

    no I'm not kidding... as you just said Arabic roots, a name given at birth does not always give clues to family back ground but sometimes it does...you really don't understand that ?
