Oh well nevermind *shuffles to corner*

Ignore me I'm in a weird mood today :D

I'm sorry :( Sure it will arrive in the next couple of days as they seem to have started arriving in the UK on Saturday. Says it was shipped on 2 May on the customs form.

You've listed some of my favourite tracks :)

I'm a little out of the Radiohead loop. I have everything up to Amnesiac (that was after Kid A wasn't it ?) How many albums have their been since 2001?

Were all copies of Amnesiac a library book or is mine a special edition?

Not an expert but yeah I think it went Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail To The Thief...

I'm one of those hoping they'll at some point realise that the bends was the best album they ever made, with OK Computer an extremely close second, and stop fucking about... some good tracks on Hail To The Thief though...

I saw them at Earls Court a couple of years ago and was mightily unimpressed... :(

Gonna take my Astoria t-shirt and stand with my arms folded and an "impress me you tossers" look on my face... ;)

On my own again... :( Astoria was first gig I've been to on my own and this is second, my gig buddy's partner is pregnant and having a bad time of it, plus he's not a big Radiohead fan...

Looking for someone to go to The Who with in Leeds still... ;)

So I'm only one album out of the loop. Not as bad as I thought then :)

Hope it's a good gig if you weren't impressed last time. Where is the gig?

Noticed the Americans on here getting all excited about them touring Stateside.

I'm starting to wonder if I can be bothered going to see the Chilis at Earls Court as I got my ticket in the presale and then friends couldn't get tickets for the same day. I saw them at Docklands Arena and Hyde Park recently and am not feeling excited about seeing them this time. Could be the Pearl Jam effect (although I am looking forward to the Foos).

What do you think of Stadium Arcadium as I haven't bought it yet?

Think this is the main reason I'm not looking forward to the Chilis. Astoria was my first gig on my own. Don't really fancy being surrounded by loads of 15 year olds :o

Confession time my one time seeing Roger Daltery was when he came on stage with Little Angels at The Royal Albert Hall for their last ever gig. Somehow I think you seeing them in Leeds may be better :)

Yeah... I think they have another album coming out this year...

Small venue, great venue, Wolverhampton Civic :D:D saw Jane's Addiction there a couple of years ago (reliving my past - saw them early nineties in Newcastle - phenomenal) :D

Seeing Chili's in Coventry - new album is good although haven't really paid it enough attention yet, what with new PJ and boots and vids to watch... ;)

I... er... cough... saw Little Angels in Middlesbrough.... yeah... part of the appeal of the Leeds gig was Flaming Lips and eels too (although I think eels are now questionable... )

Ah Dave getting too good for arenas keeping it real in the small venues ;) Hopefully that alone will make it a good gig.

Do you get your gig partner back for the Chilis? Thats another thing having to learn a double album of material in time for the gig

Yeah... he's back for that one, plus my eldest and one of his mates, plus one ticket that is 99% allocated but might come free...

I can make you feel better about your confession. Between 12-15 I saw Little Angels 4 times (once at Milton Keynes when I was 12. Line-up was Manics (pre losing Richie), Little Angels, Billy Idol and Bon Jovi) and I've seen their drummer in two other bands he's been in since (not on purpose) but not his current band, although I do own a lot of their albums. :o (Little Angels were my Take That)

It's cool you can take your kids to gigs. Obviously passed on your music tastes (am sure they help keep you up to date too). Cool dad ;)

I saw the drummer when he was in b.l.o.w. (nope, noone has heard of them) and Skunk Anansie. He's currently in Feeder (hope I'm not telling you stuff you already know :o ).

I haven't done too many gigs. Need to start doing more.

    Yeah, eldest especially...

Youngest takes some steering, he's into some fairly random ones at the moment

One learning lead, the other learning bass... I'll take my % later

Didn't know he was in any of those...

I was sure he played with Robert Plant  and maybe even Page & Plant when they did some stuff together  old age creeping in??

Do they get on well enough to be in a band together at the moment or is the oldest too cool for hanging with his little brother?

I wish I'd learned guitar instead of being pushed into the usual school instruments. My Dad was (I suppose is :o ) a bass player.

Doing their own things at the moment...

Yeah I had a bass for all of a couple of months, imagined myself as Phil Lynott, although the look was a bit removed... oh well...
