Hmm.. the raconteurs - I think I only heard one of their songs. Wasn't overly impressed :o

Snow Patrol - only really like Run from them

Wolfmother - got that a couple of weeks ago and quite like the first few tracks.

Jose Gonzales didn't really do it for me - I loved heartbeats but I found the whole album to sound exactly like it.

    Yeh, I'm in a fussy mood :o

Hmm... the kooks have been mentioned once or twice, haven't they?

oh does anyone have any good recommendations for a cd to buy??? Nothing too weird - I just want something nice and easy to listen to, maybe something like razorlight... I'm in the mood for that kinda stuff.

How about Neil Youngs new one - Living with war
Or Bruce Springsteens The Seeger sessions, which is brilliant.

shes ordering stuff that doesnt have any motion... whereas a desk tidy can move if its on one of those wee discy spinny things
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

KOL 2nd album is a thing of wonderous beauty.. it has maybe 2 or 3 slowies on it (one of them is very bluesy) and the rest are just tuneful rockers!!

i love the KOL... :) my 3rd favey-wavey-davey band in the whole wild world.. after PJ and Beatles obviously..

actually if you spin the desk tidy fast enough it can indeed turn back time.. centrifugal forces and all that ..... just like how Superman did it in that film..."The Man in The Red & Blue Pyjamas"

    are you Cher?

ps wear that outfit to Dublin as well....but no straddling of gun turrets please :)
