I hear ya bro...I didn't go to any shows this year but in 2003, on MSG night One, what should have been the greatest show ever, was half ruined by the douchebags in front of me that night. Granted, I had tickets behind the stage in the 200 section, so they weren't 10C seats. But still...
This guy had no shirt since before the show started to show off his cool muscles, was yelling for them to play some heavy metal all night long (can't remember which band), and was harassing every woman that walked by (the aisle between 100 & 200 was in front of them). I don't know what he was saying to each of them, but one woman actually threw an entire beer right on him, which was fucking awesome (and it must have been pretty offensive since you know those beers ain't cheap). After Wishlist he and his friends shouted to "play something we know" since all they knew was Ten & Vs probably. He then left about an hour into the show not knowing it was going to be close to 3 hours. His friends stuck around and weren't quite as douchey but still retarded. When Ed mentioned Springsteen I cheered and he turned around and looked at me like "seriously?"
Fucking assholes. They can ruin a concert. That was still an awesome show even from behind the stage, but those assholes ruined it for the first hour.

At alpine 03 my good friend came along and got way too drunk and ended up pissing on me at our seats! I couldnt even get mad at him he was too fucked up! It was while ed had on the silver sparkling jacket doing his acoustic stuff. So quiet and all i could hear was that warm liquid. At least you didnt have to drive home with the guy who pissed on ya!! (Though it sucked just as bad Im sure)
Sounds like you need some new friends. If any of my friends pissed on me at my favorite band's concert, I'd probably disown them from that point forward.
