miles from the tornado. The devastation, the loss hitting our family so close to home. Many prayers needed. Thank you C !

this thread should always be at the top of the board!

-yesterday evening, when my 11-hour-shift was finally over, i was sooo tired. It had been a long day and my feet was killing me. I just sat on the steps of the staircase, stared at nothing and tried to pull myself together to drive 30 minutes home on my bicycle... I just wanted to stay on those steps.
But somehow i got up and started biking home, with Ten on my iPod. On a regular wednesday evening like that, where the streets are turning dark and seems almost deserted, everything is quiet. Master/Slave was the perfect transition between silence ad movement, and the following songs gave my legs the needed energy to almost fly home! -perfect way to end a day

Had to run into the grocery store this morning to pick up stuff for a potluck at work, which I wasn't thrilled about. Then Eddie came on the store's system singing Hide Your Love Away. When I walked in I was in a hurry, but once the song started I chilled out and never had such joy shopping for pretzel chips and hummus in my life. I didn't leave till the song was over.

    Music can do amazing things!!!
It's amazing what you hear when you take time to listen.

when hearing Ray Manzarek died the other day pulled up You Tube videos of Ed with the Doors at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which lead to watching a ton of videos of Ed playing with other groups. Sat there for probably 2 hours finding videos of Ed nailing it with other legends. Really made me appreciate Ed on that level again (sometimes we forget and need to be pulled back in). As Stone said in PJ20 'wow our guys pretty fucking good too'

This. Probably my favorite cameo ever made by Ed with another "legend". On stage and on point with the Stones - fucking awesome.
