the pj al qaedas will be upset w this post but i feel after seeing the made in china/settle picture like i did after reading about the oracle thing. feel maybe the band cares less and less about substance and more about the bottom line. the made in china and the misspelling of seattle seem to be oddly appropriate with what we've seen lately. it leaves me sitting there thinking have i been duped? eh, anyway, see everyone in philly.

Good Lord Rob, that beard is long. I couldn't grow something like that if I didn't shave for 100 years. Oh, and I still offer my QA services for free to the 10c to proof check, test, and catch errors and website bugs. Settle would have caught my eye instantly.

I think the members of Pearl Jam would be horrified to see that Made in China sticker... oh, wait, I'm thinking of the Pearl Jam who refused to play unless the army recruiters were banned or the sponsorship banner was taken down, and who have an Activism tab on their website and who do benefits regularly... not the Pearl Jam who made a Target commercial, plays at corporate events, supports Apple and their abuse of Chinese workers (EV merch) or ships jobs overseas by having merch made in China... "If you hate something... don't you do it too."

Part of what I liked about this band, besides the music, was that they were role models in progressive thinking... Lately, one wonders...

Agree. I think the jacket is ugly/over-priced, but I dont see the big issue of not wanting it because of a tag misprint.

If it was on the outside of the jacket, sure.

You haven't had anything good to say about the band, 10c, touring, Wisconsin, whatever for a long time...which is fine. You are entitled to your opinion, but it boggles my mind that someone would stick around on a band's messageboard for so long when they are clearly unhappy with everything the band does.

So help me out? If you're so upset about everything, why stick around?
