  • Pics down and jackets are "currently out of stock"
I just wanted to see what it looks like.

Just go to the Shop, there is a picture still on the first page

Thanks! Just saw it now. Weird..They must of pulled it down for a minute cause it did say "out of stock" w/ no pic.

Umm....yeah, I'm gonna have to pass on that. Not feeling it and I don't have $100.00 for a jacket even if I was.

Lots of whiny people on here.

    Solution: Don't buy it.

Another day, another announcement in the Pearl Jam camp that seems to be divisive among us.

I'm not trying to say it should be like 1994 all over again, and I do understand slowing down and not touring and recording as the "Pearl Jam" entity 365 days a year as well. I just wish the band's music catalog kept up with their product catalog. It's kind of like the feeling I get when I'm in a store like Wal-Mart or Target and I see Beatles T-shirts or Jimi Hendrix posters - kinda nostalgic and sad. It's cool if the band can still be an interest to people or gain audiences years later. I suppose I just want them to still be musically relevant and put out new music as often as possible. Maybe it is a little selfish...times change, values change, attitudes change. I guess I'm just not ready to feel "nostalgic" about this band yet. Watching PJ20 made me feel old!

You guys are pretty harsh on the jacket and on the beard.

First of all, the jacket isn't that bad. I'm glad to see it's not another black t-shirt.

Second, that beard is pretty awesome! I'm secretly jealous of guys who can grow beards like that. Not saying I would or even could, in my line of work, but damn that is commitment!

The beard is freaking awesome... I'm dead serious...

I'm not jealous that I can't grow one... In fact I know I can.... I'm probably the hairiest MF posting on this board...

My problem is that I don't have the pateince... My beard gets to be about 2-3 inches long and then I start hating it... the inchiness, the having to shampoo it every day, (the fact that the hair on my chin is longer than the hair on top of my head :fp:) and then I breakdown and shave it all off... it's a vicious circle...

As for the jacket, well who cares? Compared to that beard it's nothing. :P
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

The beard is great, and the jacket is pretty cool too. I like how it was inspired by the ones worn by Jeff. If I had an extra $100 laying around I would buy this in a second, but I don't, so I can just sit and wait for a sale code and then scoop it.

Awesome beard and I would not want to be a guy in a mustache/beard growing contest with him! That thing grows faster than my hair!

Finally saw a pic of the jacket, it kinda looks like it's based off the one Ed has/wears. I do like the quilted flannel jackets...very warm. I bought one from Sears (back in the 90s-for $20). I'd probably buy it BECAUSE it's *ugly*, it will go with my ugly corduroy jacket.
