Banksy doing a PJ poster would be badass! does anyone know if this is a Banksy original? It looks like his style but I've never found a name of who it belongs to on it...if it is...it's my favorite by him.

I think it's more effective that it didn't shred all the way through because it still remains a permanent piece. Had it fully shred, the buyer could easily have pieced the strips together and put in a new frame. I suppose they still could do that, but it would require disassembling the current frame & built-in shredder.

I actually feel like it only shredding 2/3 of the way was effective... maybe even better than the whole thing. Not such a bad failure, lol. But I guess if I were Banksy I'd be kind of frustrated if my plan hadn't worked out the way I expected.

Curiously, the canvas didn’t make it all the way through the shredder — did it jam, or was that intentional? By leaving about 1/3 of the print in the frame, the shredded bits are left attached and dangling… thus preventing them from splitting the pile of shreds into 50 more auctions with everyone vying for a slice.

That thing is going to go back up for auction in its half-shredded state and sell for at least ten times as much as it got. Because Banksy is the one who shredded it. It's a one of a kind. And considering I've seen a blue square painting go for $44M (it's a goddamn blue square!!!) that will easily fetch over $10M
