Stereotype of dumb Americans. Nice quote.Ignorant?
It's always funny when pushing liberals with logic and they can't go further they get personal...kind of like Demos with this election. Lets concentrate on gay marriage (something that affects such a small percentage of the population) intsead of the real issues that affect everyone. I laugh.
Everything you say is just brutal. There is a reason no one else is really debating you. The whole "don't argue with a fool" quote. So yeah, I guess jokes on me.
Social issues are a a small part of this election but important to me as I don't think we can be considered the greatest country in the world if everyone is not considered equal. Like I said, I don't give a shit if social issues impact 1% of the population or 90% of the population, equality is equality. Obama has certainly not done everything I had hoped economically, but in my view, the Ryan budget or anything along those lines is not the answer.
And that's your opinion and your right to feel that way...what I find ironic though...is even though I don't agree with you, and I think differently...I have never once called you stupid or ignorant or tried insulting you. Usually people who only feel cornered do stuff like that. Just saying.
That's fine, I am certainly wrong for doing that but I most definitely do not feel cornered. The woman tells me I handle this shit terribly all the time. I can't help it though, especially when the person I am debating cares only about their self and does not bring anything of substance to the table. Edson and inlet bring strong views on the way to benefit this economy, that in summary tax cuts will create jobs. I understand their point of view but don't agree. They have cited specific examples as to why they think that way. In the climate change argument and most others, you have brought nothing to the table except citing Google, propaganda, shooting mexicans and other BS like that.0 -

To think we are changing it is "fucking ridiculous?"
I despise this attitude and its really sad...But what if we are changing it? Cant we all just do a little better, just in case? Otherwise, a fuckit, i'll pollute, it doesnt matter attitude gets us nowhere.
Do you know what happens if you turn on your car and sit in your garage with the door closed? You fucking die. And that's just one car. The atmosphere acts in such a way that it traps these gases. Do you think they just disappear with zero effect?
I do actually.
That about sums it up.0 -
JonnyPistachio wrote:Actually, I doubt it has anything to do with feeling cornered...it looks like to me, and likely many others, that its the only way to deal with your posts because they are usually condescending... and either you're often joking or we've mistaken it for childish baiting. Its very transparent actually.
Not baiting. Just asking the ultimate logical questions.0 -

listen to yourself ... you want to disregard all the climate scientists today because of what someone might have said 1,000 years ago!? ... heck 100 years ago? ... don't you realize how absurd this logic is?0 -

uhh ... are you referring to an inconvenient truth!? ... the oscar award winning documentary about global warming which i'm guessing you are one of the people who deny its occurrence and cause? ... or did he make a heavily biased, smear campaign movie about romney or some other presidential candidate?

Not really. It's doing ok for a "documentary," but Fahrenheit 911 opened with $24 million dollars in its first weekend (and that was 8 years ago, adjusted to today's ticket prices that would be closer to $30 million) and went on to make $220 million world wide. And it STILL has zero affect on the election.
Preaching to the converted never does. And no moderate or independent is going to waste time on an obvious hatchet piece.0
