I am curious what your sources are and what you have read? I'd be interested to read reputable and respected information that opposes my view. Not some site that is good at SEO and knows how to get their hoax site to the top of the search results. I am sure you'll dance around this and throw out moronic dinosaur cliches.

I actually have been to 3 or 4 glaciers around the world from New Zealand to Canada multiple times since 1991 and have seen the change first hand. So while it's not polar ice caps, it is certainly scary.

Edit: And a question on the Ice Age. Since you like to cite history all the time, are you aware of how long it has historically taken an Ice Age to develop? Anyone who believes in climate changes does not argue that the earth heats and cools naturally over time, it is that we are playing a major role in speeding up the process to unatural and dangerous levels.

All over the interweb...television...newspapers...magazines. SHits all over. Do your own searching. Again...I don't need to prove what I believe. The Earth is cyclical...that's what I believe. Again...I don't need to prove it to you or anyone else...the point of my OP was the whole Whore...I mean Gore movie...Democratic propaganda at its finest.

So just to confirm you are not going to answer any of my questions or respond with anything of substance?

I found a list of about 40 or so "scientists" who do not believe in the human element of climate change. Just give me a name of one of them that shaped your view and I'll read it. Or at least give me something besides PR and Dinosaur cliches. And it's funny, next to the list of all them are the percentage that agree and disagree. My 5% yesterday was very generous.

The "science" community once argued the World was flat. For centuries and centiries it was "believed" to be true. Fuck...maybe the world is actually flat?

Funny. I found a list of 40 scientists who support human cause of climate change...and they all have different theories...none of them can explain the Ice Age however without having a major blowup and argument. Let me know when that settles. :corn:  Until then, get me one of theose Whips the Dinosaurs were driving. Thtas hit must have been dope!!

they've been talking about this anti-intellectualism for some time ... it's true ...

It is and it's sad. This dude is the exact problem with this country. I can understand and get behind republicans who have respectable views, people like inlet and edson who are clearly educated and can debate topics (and sometimes prove me wrong) and while I don't necessarily agree with them, I respect their opinion because it is based on education and critical thinking.

Then there is this guy, who is the stereotype of dumb Americans, the reason why so many in the rest of the world think we are ignorant morons. Global warming is not real because some website I searched for told me so, we should murder Mexicans because some show on Nat Geo told me it is a problem, we shouldn't help anyone because by god I never needed help, we shouldn't have gay marraige because equality isn't important, and anything that costs me a few bucks, even if it is for the greater good of this country is wrong. He rants and raves about the how great this country is, yet he as no interest in the greater good of it. Oh and when someone pushes him on a topic, he resorts to cliches I spouted when I was in 6th grade and wanted to play devils advocate to my parents.

Stereotype of dumb Americans. Nice quote. Ignorant? It's always funny when pushing liberals with logic and they can't go further they get personal...kind of like Demos with this election. Lets concentrate on gay marriage (something that affects such a small percentage of the population) intsead of the real issues that affect everyone. I laugh.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

But yeah, you found something on the Google...congrats.

And let me ask you this? If you agree that pollution is bad for everyone disgregarding climate change, why is it a bad thing to try and have an positive impact on this earth and leave our children with the same natural surroundings that we had? Why is it a bad thing to cut down on the pollution and save our surroundings? Outside of climate change.

Everything you say is just brutal. There is a reason no one else is really debating you. The whole "don't argue with a fool" quote. So yeah, I guess jokes on me.

Social issues are a a small part of this election but important to me as I don't think we can be considered the greatest country in the world if everyone is not considered equal. Like I said, I don't give a shit if social issues impact 1% of the population or 90% of the population, equality is equality. Obama has certainly not done everything I had hoped economically, but in my view, the Ryan budget or anything along those lines is not the answer.

Personal research, not much, but I was with numerous people who were. And I have pictures of myself standing in the same spot on two of them (Franz Josef for one) years apart, in one I am standing on ice, in the other I am not and it is not even close. I am far from an expert on the topic but have read, talked to and been around enough conferences on the topic that I feel I can have a pretty sound opinion.

Which glaciers happen to be growing?

That's fine, I am certainly wrong for doing that but I most definitely do not feel cornered. The woman tells me I handle this shit terribly all the time. I can't help it though, especially when the person I am debating cares only about their self and does not bring anything of substance to the table. Edson and inlet bring strong views on the way to benefit this economy, that in summary tax cuts will create jobs. I understand their point of view but don't agree. They have cited specific examples as to why they think that way. In the climate change argument and most others, you have brought nothing to the table except citing Google, propaganda, shooting mexicans and other BS like that.
