There are many many many other scientists who do not agree with global warming. A quick search gave me this one first. There are 1000's more. Would you like me to post them so you can read them all?

I'm sure arguments like this happen all over the world.

It's fine to take a position based on what you know at a moment in time. The problem we have in America is that we always want to win. It's admirable from the standpoint that we are willing to go down with the ship, but in reality it is that we are not willing to say (after new or more information becomes available), "I was wrong" and move on.

But I can see from other posters on this site that come from other countries, they have that same problem too apparently.

Yes...I know...everything that disputes global warming is known as a hoax. More liberal press spoon feeding. Anyone who disputes these facts must be idiots correct? I mean all of he scientists that sign their names to these articles all must either be idiots or in it on it?! It's only the ones who support global warming are the real "truth tellers' correct?

As someone who grew up in a household that had both parents directly work in a field related to this, I can say with absolute certainty that the number of climate change scientists that do not believe humans are impacting it is less than 5% of all scientists. There is overwhelming evidence that we are impacting our enviroment. That is just a fact.

There are multiple and multiple of sources that would state otherwise...but if your parents said less than 5% that must be the truth. :corn:

admitting your wrong is something that is definitely common around the world ... no disagreement there ...

but the problem you have in the US is the pervasiveness of misinformation and the effectiveness of those campaigns because of a lazy population ... one that chooses not to think critically ...

if a major celebrity from anywhere else in the world would come out and say obama wasn't born in the US (see donald trump) they would be laughed at and ridiculed by the majority of their population ... but in the US ... it's only "one" side and when that happens ... the "other" side gets more beholden to support the opposing viewpoint ...

it's like if liberals were to say global warming is a hoax ... guess what conservatives would do!? ... it's absolutely ridiculous that in this day and age of information that someone can continue to spew talking points right out of a PR campaign and believe it is factual ...

So other than PR campaigns where do you get your insightful wisdom from? :corn: You do realize everything that is published has a spin on it correct? Of course you know that. You paint all AMericans as being lazy and one that doesn't think critically so you know everything. And to address your point about Donald Trump...if another celebrity from around the world questioned Obama's birth it's not if we thought they were crazy or not...we wouldn't give a shit.

yes ... for both sides ... that's why there is no peer reviewed credible piece of literature out there that disproves global warming is not man made ... and if you know anything about funding for academics - you will know that if there was ... it'd be out there ... lots of corporations be happy to fund any scientist that disproves that ... but seeing as they can't ... they hire PR companies to create think tanks and publish op-ed pieces ... or they get some physicist who wants money to sign his name to some bogus document ...

The web is a beautiful tool. Do your own searching and reading. Form your opinions. I'm not here to convince anyone of shit. Personally, I don't give a fuck what anyone believes. You can believe aliens live in your fucking freezer...I don't give a shit. My post is that if anyone doesn't believe the Gore film was democratic propaganda they have there head so firmly placed up their ass they have shit running out of the ears.

Sources say they are...found multiple ones. Unless you have personally measured the fucking polar ice caps yourself...you're taking other people's words for it. So for every source you find that says they aren't grwong, I'll find one that says it is. I'm just wondering what fucking size those SUVs must have been that the dinosaurs were driving that cause the ice age. Fuck...those must have been some major fucking rides!

I am curious what your sources are and what you have read? I'd be interested to read reputable and respected information that opposes my view. Not some site that is good at SEO and knows how to get their hoax site to the top of the search results. I am sure you'll dance around this and throw out moronic dinosaur cliches.

I actually have been to 3 or 4 glaciers around the world from New Zealand to Canada multiple times since 1991 and have seen the change first hand. So while it's not polar ice caps, it is certainly scary.

Edit: And a question on the Ice Age. Since you like to cite history all the time, are you aware of how long it has historically taken an Ice Age to develop? Anyone who believes in climate changes does not argue that the earth heats and cools naturally over time, it is that we are playing a major role in speeding up the process to unatural and dangerous levels.

sources ... so, your oil funded right wing sources are the same as scientific ones ... ones that have to be peer-reviewed ... ones that have been documented by satellite imagery over the years ... it's like getting your medical advice from a mechanic and not a doctor ...

i find it utterly tragic that you are arguing against sea ice and glacier loss when there is irrefutable evidence ... it's visual ... it's measurable ... it's evident for EVERYONE to see ... yet, instead of looking it up yourself ... you go and look up "glaciers growing" and buy the lies and the cherry picking without even thinking about it ... but that ultimately is the definition of indoctrination ...

All over the interweb...television...newspapers...magazines. SHits all over. Do your own searching. Again...I don't need to prove what I believe. The Earth is cyclical...that's what I believe. Again...I don't need to prove it to you or anyone else...the point of my OP was the whole Whore...I mean Gore movie...Democratic propaganda at its finest.
