WOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW I am still buzzing! Really! I was in the second row in the middle so I was one of the lucky few who got to shake his hand after the show.
The setlist was more than I could have hoped for. Thumbing my way was for me personally the emotional highlight of the evening. But Arc was just… BREATHTAKING.
The venue was amazing and so was the crowd… let’s face it people it is NOT a rock-concert so clapping and screaming after a song ==> GOOD! Shouting things at the man when he wants to start telling a story==> :nono: :nono: :nono: BIG NO!!
But as I said the crowd was amazing, the setlist was amazing… I thought his voice was amazing as well and the stories in between just made the evening even more magical than it already was.
Especially when he told the story about “that bitch” (his words!) from English giving him a C- for a poem that was actually a Pete Townsend Lyric. And the story about how he always wrote songs when he was high ( “Probably because I was just high a lot when I was young.”) and how they always seemed so AWESOME when he was writing them but then afterwards they turned out to be… well not that awesome.

The duets with Glen Hansard (Who was amazing by himself btw!) were really beautiful! “Falling slowly” and “society” made me cry… like really tears running down my face… and I am NOT a weepy person!

Yeah… sorry I am babbling but I am just still in shock ( the good kind!) from what I witnessed last night. For all of you who have a ticket for one of his upcoming shows ==> he is worth every penny!

Thank you! You have summed up my experience (when he was in Australia) perfectly... It is really something entirely different seeing Eddie... thoroughly amazing...

Amazing show, had Ten Club tickets for the second night but was on a waiting list for the first. Got scammed last week when I paid for tickets but did not receive any but when Carre called me the day of the show I was sooooo happy. A colleague of mine asked if they had two and yes so we went together and were at row 10!!!I enjoyed every minute of it and was so glad I would be there again for the second show.Thanks to all that made this happen!!!

Had such a great night... When Ed started talking about how he lost a dear friend the other day in an accident my heart stopped. we had just lost our 23 year old nephew last monday, so you can imagine we couldn't keep it dry when he started man of the hour...Thanks Eddie you helped us through some of the worst days in our lifes.....

Oh my......what to say?

Didn´t have tickets to Amsterdam 1 so my girlfriend and I had dinner while my brother and good friend attented this show.
Afterwards we walked past the Carré and we were aproached by a roadie of Eddies who asked us if we wanted to watch the rest of the show since they had some tickets left that weren´t picked up.
SO WE GOT TO WATCH THE FINAL THIRD FOR FREE! HELL YEAH!!

Entered the venue during Betterman and saw the final 10 songs. This made me hear songs like Arc and Parting ways for the first time. What a gift!

Thanks Ten Club, it was so nice of you to give us this extra experience.
