Hey 10C, I think it would be very helpful for people without smartphones if you did some kind of official announcement about the fact that people who don't have them will still be able to get into shows with your new (awesome) ticketing system. Some people are freaking out about it, and unless they scour multi-page threads hoping to see that you'll help, they have no clue if they and their flip phones can even get into the building. Just a pinned post from your would probably ease their minds!

.it  really would be neat if they made  box sets available
from 2000/2002./2003./2004/2005./2006/2007.(2008/2009 )(for those who didnt get them)2015/2016 and for the future 2018 and so on. The rest are up for sale at nugs.but need 2000 /2003/2005/2006/2011/2012/2015/2016 empty boxsets please PearlJam release thsese empty boxsets .as someday i will be living out of a smaller place and these make a great way to take them with you and store them on the shelf better .and also release the cd bootlegs from 1998/2003/2004/2005/2006/2007/ and a boxset of the 2002 Seattle shows like the spectron 2009 shows would be sweet. I know its alot to ask but it would be a form of some very cool music art i love how the art work looks on your boxsets and cds bootlegs.

Please consider playing a show in Boise, since Eddie told the Boise crowd in 2000, “We’ll never not play here again.” Call him out on his word, lol :)
Ed...buddy...pal...stay true to your word and play Boise again.

MAN, I hate to be a complaining ass but the new ticket trick leaves me a bit disappointed. My first show of my life was the Rolling Stones in 1972 with Stevie Wonder opening.  To this day I have that well worn stub, that got that way from showing it to folks and fondling it remembering through this smoke stained brain just how I got hooked on live music. It stays nestled along with quite a few others in a full 9x11 manila envelope. I doubt I've lost 10 stubs in my life.  I have about 100 Dead stubs.
how come you don't know exactly how many gd stubs you have? i thought us old people knew exactly how many shows it was?
  • I´m not gonna lie, it hurts a bit that the band will be visiting my country only for the Lollapalooza show, and not added an extra show, like they did in Santiago and Rio, would love to know if it´s due to schedule conflict or something else, it´s seems odd.
Having said that though, I´m also thrilled to see them again, and very thankful to see them abroad also :)

    mental health reasons regarding touring.

I had to comment on being super old, me too LOL. I also don't get your question could be my age : ( I'm not sure anything is out yet at least for Boston. I don't know about you, but waiting to see if I won the lottery is painful. I have to have ADA seating and I'm positive there are not a lot of tickets for us, at least this year, seems like so many more fans now. My number was 119 and I went through hell with surgery after surgery so I was off the list for too long now I'm way up there. I only brought that up because back then we didn't go through this, we just bought our tics through Ten Club and now Ticket Master....
If I do get tics for Boston I'll be happy to grab a poster if you want : )

I have most of mine, at least the best, this is 100% truth. I'm 57 my first show was Aerosmith in 76, I don't have the stub but I have the Drum Sticks. I have two item's in frames at my daughter's house, she's my Pearl Jam buddy. I tried calling but she's not home to get the actual date. I'm almost positive without looking here, but in 2003 I had 2 tics through Ten Club for Mansfield, Mass I was at both shows only one Ten Club. Long story short we all know how strict they are with tics, I found out I had Colon Cancer from Crohn's. I didn't know Mike had it I don't think he came out with it until after. My surgery was the same day as the concert I wrote 10 Club told them and asked if my daughter could have them. Yes, no problem. I then wrote them "Fuck it if I'm going to die I'm going to see Pearl Jam one more time. I gave my name etc... for my tickets, someone in the booth said my name then she said I have something from Mike for you. My heart sank, I thought I was going to faint she handed me a sealed white envelope. Inside were 2 yellow backstage passes signed by Mike, and the box for friend was checked off!!! My daughter & I sat with Jeffs cousin, great guy, and I believe the owner of ESPN (not positive) Jeffs cousin said he was or some owner of LG. sports company, I had a signed baseball by Eddie he had a Tamborine I begged to swap but he wouldn't. Boom was also sitting there, but I didn't know him I never googled it the date he became a member I am going to now LOL. I was so excited I can't remember everything because it was so unexpected. Jeffs, cousin told me I was so lucky Pearl Jam usually only have family & friends backstage. I have with that a picture of me & Ritchie Blackmore. Spent 7 weeks Bartending at Choochs in North Brookfield every Sunday night after 10 pm, Rainbow was recording at Longview Studio in N.B. That's another long one, but I had no clue who he was, I knew they were at Longview nobody in the Brookfields looked or talked like them LOL. My brother almost killed me when I told him, long time fan Oh well : ) Sorry such long post.

    Andrew Rae (http://andrewrae.info)!!!

If Pearl Jam has an open spot on their poster artist roster, may I suggest this guy?
The above illustration is from an Esquire article on Silicon Valley, but more of his work, including one concert poster for a band called Foals, can be found here (http://andrewrae.info/Illustration).

I am still here and if you're from the Brookfields or know about Longview Recording Studio you know it's true. Chooches was a biker bar if you know biker bars Sunday bights are dead on Sunday nights that's when the bands came in. I think Vinny and Longview had a thing about when to come in. I was asked to work Sunday nights and at first, said no I wouldn't make money after I agreed I was also asked not to talk about who had come in, when I asked why Vinny smiled then I knew something was up. I have met a lot of really famous bands but I usually don't tell anyone who's going to believe it right? Longview was huge out of the way farm, bands loved it. The Stones recorded there in the early 80's not sure I think it was "Some Girls". I think back then I was one of the only ones who didn't see Mick Jagger LOL. He jogged, went to the stores, he was everywhere I wasn't and Choochs wasn't there. A lot of good times also very young, thin, and told beautiful it's all gone now  Thanks for the comments.

Just a side note, Philly has a ballpark too ;0)
at every ticketless event i've been to so far, i have received a ticket stub after i scanned my credit card as i entered the venue. maybe it's different now with phones, but it might be the same.

I saw Bruce during the goodbye Spectrum run and never got a stub. I got a shitty piece of paper.

And a nice football stadium where the world champion E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES play. What a rush it would be to play on the same field, guys.
  • No PRINTED TICKET option at the venue for these shows!?!?! - shame on you. PATHETIC
