47-61 with a 4.09 ERA career. And the Yankees are probably gonna throw 9 figures at him.

This Sunday will be my 50th birthday. Yeah Ole SPEEDY is getting old!
I will spend my 50th at my folks house, with mom , dad, and my wife. We will either get some Chinese food, or order our Lou Malnatis, and watch game 2.

    PERFECT!

Have a Happy 50th Mike. I'll be rooting for your Cubbies. Hope you get the chance to taste the champagne with your dad in celebration with a Cubs WS win someday soon.
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)
    What You Giving

I suggest you step out on your Porch.
Run away my son. See it all. Oh, See the World!

    Jerome Walton?
    Felix Pie?

And lets not forget the Milton Bradley era!

    hahahahaha

That's what I love about what Theo is doing. We are so deep that we don't need to hang all of our hopes on a Corey Patterson or Felix Pie.

I still can't believe that we are in the NLCS.

Was at the game Monday and the Wrigley crowd was amazing. People hanging on every pitch, on their feet for every 2 strike count, giving each other high fives after each HR. The place is going to be nuts next week.

Or get excited by signing Todd Hundley.

    Gary Scott! Yikes!

So my lovely bride went and surprised me with Blackhawks tickets for Saturday. Cubbies 4 games away from the World Series, and I am going to miss game 1.

Its all good. Ill just watch it on MLB. when I get home. I don't watch all that many of the games to begin with. With my job and working nights, I follow most games on the radio. But yeah, I am sure I will be spending those 20 minute intermissions glued to my phone.

The Hawks were showing the WC game on the concourse TV's during opening night against NYR, and score updates on the jumbotron between periods. Maybe they'll do the same for CS Game 1.
