Nice to see Dempster get shelled. Maybe you should have accepted that trade to ATL to ship in the easier NL.

Dempster has looked awful since joining the Rangers.
0-3 with an ERA of 8.31

Speaking of looking awful, how are we down 9-0 to the Astros?

After watching Chris Volstad pitch again, I think I would consider trading him back to Miami for Zambrano

I think this season was done back in April.

Next year will not be good either.

I hope it only takes 3 years to build a (weak) playoff team.

2013 - Lose 90 games (last in division - thanks Astros)
2014 - Play close to .500 baseball (finish in middle of the pack in the Central)
2015 - Sneak into the playoffs in a weak division

Too bad we will need to re-build almost the entire roster by 2015. Rizzo may only be the only one left by then.

I think the organization is losing patience with his mental lapses in the field and on the bases. Plus, by 2015, Castro will no longer be cheap. If the Cubs are going to rebuild the entire lineup over a few years, they need some young, cheap talent.

sounds like they have had a deal in place with the Giants but he doens't want to play on the west coast for a winning team...he'd rather stick with the flubs.

Soriano says playing in Frisco will effect his power numbers?
Soriano doesnt care for the weather in Frisco....

    HIS POWER NUMBERS????

    What a complete fucking asshole...
I would just cut the piece of garbage now...
    Eat the fucking money....
And give that piece a shit a job selling frosty malts in the bleachers......
    Take me piece by piece.....

  • Giants? 1 game out of 1st.

Cubs? The most pathetic pieces of crap in all of professional sports.

Soriano wont go to Frisco because he is worried about HIS? power numbers?

That tells you/me/everyone all we need to know about Soriano.

That is brutal. I'm more shocked that another NL team would want to trade for him and play him in the outfield. Haven't they seen his clown act out there??? This guy would be a perfect DH.

I am with you on this one.

Why wouldn't Soriano want to go play for a competitive team and possibly make it to the playoffs? Does he really care about his own stats so much that he is willing to play for a team that is going to lose between 90 -100 games this year? Next April, when its 40 degrees at Wrigley and there are 3,000 people in the stands and Soriano is hotting .220 with no HRs, I am sure that he will be rethinking this decision.

Wouldn't that be great if a team could do that? I mean if a team out of contention comes across a scenario like this...keep paying him and throw his ass in a dunk tank out in the concourse for four hours every game.:lol:

Exactly!! Selfish piece of shit!! It's about him and his numbers, not about winning. The type of athlete i hate. Yet there are still morons who wear his jersey and cheer for him. His ass should be booed off the field. I'll be booing him every time he comes up to bat in Milwaukee next week. Speedy, why do you care though? Aren't you a Sox fan now?

It would have been good this year especially since no one wants to watch that nonsense on the field. Weird that both Sox and Cubs are out of town this weekend...doesn't happen too often.
