    THe internet in censored in the USA because NBC bought the broadcast rights to the Olympics. Why is it when we hear that China is blocking websites we bitch about how bad communist China is but when it happens to the USA nobody says shit? Are we lemmings that see no wrong with this?

    The Olympics are being streamed all over the world by more than just NBC but because we are in America the other sites have been blocked from US IP addresses. Do you really think that NBC is the only site in the whole world brodcasting the Olympics?

    ok i gotcha...but nbc is streaming live...you could've watched phleps' race for example on-line

    not defending nbc but they laid out a billion dollars for this so i understand them trying to make $$...they're just doing a sucky job at it

    So what will it cost the next Corporation to censor the web? Censorship because somebody paid for broadcast rights is wrong in my book, but the blindness to the fact that we are being censored really pisses me off. We are being led to the slaughterhouse and we don't even know it.

    Tape delaying anything in 2012 is pretty stupid. Replay it if you want but at least show it real time on one of your 10 channels. It would be pretty hard for me to get near the Internet or flip on espn without finding out results.
