"Classic" songs you just don't get.

Is there a classic song out there, a radio staple, that you've just never seen the appeal of and can't stand hearing? For me it's American Pie, can't stand it.
All my favourite singers have stolen all of my best lines.

I like a lot of Queen stuff, but Bohemian Rhapsody sucks a big fat one... I don't get the love for it at all.

Tiny Dancer. I hate that song with a passion. My #2 most hated song of all time.

(There is a special spot in hell reserved for Celine Dion and that piece of shit song from Titanic that played non-stop for a few years. I worked in an office where you could hit 'hold' on your phone and get that the radio station the company had as hold music to play at your desk. Every time that fucking song would come on all of the women that didn't have it playing would hit hold and play it. I wanted to shove knives into my ears.)

No biggie.....welcome to our geek progressive rock world. You should get this one though....

Red Sector A from Grace Under Pressure

All that we can do is just survive
All that we can do to help ourselves is stay alive...

    Ragged lines of ragged grey
    Skeletons, they shuffle away
    Shouting guards and smoking guns
Will cut down the unlucky ones

I clutch the wire fence until my fingers bleed
A wound that will not heal -- a heart that cannot feel --
Hoping that the horror will recede
Hoping that tomorrow, we'll all be freed

    Sickness to insanity
    Prayer to profanity
Days and weeks and months go by
Don't feel the hunger -- too weak to cry

I hear the sound of gunfire at the prison gate
Are the liberators here -- do I hope or do I fear?
For my father and my brother, it's too late
But I must help my mother stand up straight...

Are we the last ones left alive?
Are we the only human beings to survive?...

Rock On by David Essex (or Michael Damian)

It's always on heavy rotation on the classic rock and oldies stations. Why???

I actually love a lot of their songs but what makes me laugh is that a good friend of mind argues with everyone on this point. He doesn't like the Beatles and it cracks me up how many people bug out just because he is a musician and doesn't like the Beatles.
