    you can rent a brand new RV from the manufacture for cheap....300 bucks for 10 days, if you agree to drive it to the west coast. normal rates are like 200 bucks/100 miles per day. i'm going to look into doing this next year

    LOL. I live in Elkhart. Never been to the Hall of Fame but I did work in the RV industry for several years.

    I really hope you're all serious about getting together for camping at the Dunes. How much fun would that be!!!! I freaking love camping. We need to make it happen.

    I feel your pain -- I lived in Missouri for about a year and it was awful. And I even grew up in Small Town, IL ... go figure!

    I may be down for an Indiana trip. I tend to stay away from the Dunes due to bad history (stupid friends organizing the trips that led to more time stuck in traffic than on the beach), but I could be convinced otherwise. Booze is involved, you say ... :think:
