GAH!!!! I've seen them 3 times...once at that Alpine show in '08. Best live band ever...ever ever ever. People were ripping up the chairs in the pavilion at Alpine and passing them back through the lawn. I hate to use the word epic...but it was epic!

I'll be surprised if anything surpasses Tool for me. The amount of pot flowing and passing through that place was incredible.

You should see a Pink Floyd Concert. You didn't even need to smoke weed. Just breathe in and out.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

I've seen Tool...and maybe Rage wouldn't surpass Tool for you because you love them so much. But I gotta say, I have NEVER seen crowds with such intensity as I've seen at Rage shows. In '99 at the Tibetan Freedom Concert they played before the Beasties...crowd was INSANE and after about 2 songs into the Beasties everyone just started leaving...there was no way they could top what just happened. If they ever play a show again, I strongly recommend doing everything in your power to go!

My daughter is playing some kind of stick man app, and says "oh mom, there was a picture of a beaver chewing on a piece of wood. It was the funniest thing I've seen"
