Wow, 10 acts on Sunday, if Pegi is included? Or maybe she got cut?
That's a busy lineup.
I don't think Pegi has ever done a full set before. She's always so busy hosting the concert and putting all the pieces in place that I'm guessing she won't be getting a full time slot, but you never know.
9 acts is still a lot. I'm hoping it goes something like this on Sunday:
Josh Groban ~ 10 minutes
Sarah McLachlan ~ 15 minutes
Cat Power ~ 30 minutes
Death Cab ~ 45 minutes
Norah Jones ~ 45 minutes
Jack Johnson ~ 45 minutes
Wilco ~ 1 hour
Pumpkins ~ 1.5 hours
Neil ~ whatever's left

It's always a long day. That's why I'm glad Neil plays a few songs at the start.
Sacramento 10-30-00, Bridge School 10-20 and 10-21-01, Bridge School 10-25 and 10-26-01, Irvine 06-02-03, Irvine 06-03-03, San Diego 06-05-03, San Diego 07-07-06, Los Angeles 07-09-06, Santa Barbara 07-13-06, London UK 06-18-07, San Diego 10-9-09, San Diego 2013, LA 1 2013
Not only do people whine every year, people assume that acts will be added every year. The lineup looks pretty full, especially on Sunday. Pegi Young will be playing a set of her own material, aside from Neil's. I'd say the only chance for an act to be added is on Saturday, and the probability of that is between slim and none.
Hmm... really... Sarah MacLachlan added after the first announcement.

I did not see PJ on the Bridge School lineup for 2008.
Any news?

Sarah McLachlan is a great musician. Celine Dion and Sarah McLachlan have two things in common, they're both women and they're both from Canada, thats about it. I'd be more worried about the Smashing Pumpkins. I've seen them at bridge school. One of the worst performances I have ever seen.

They both bug this shit out of me!
.....and now I find out they're Canadian!
I'll mail my check to the Bridge School this year.

Now it lists Sarah McLachlan as Saturday only...I guess they're balancing out the lineup. http://bridgeschool.org/events.html

Hmm...really...looks like I was still right....except about the slim and none part.
I'd say the chances of anybody else being added after MacLachlan is very remote right now.

that was Katrina and a lot of artists were doing other benifits
another bad hurricane season this year expect artists to be booked elsewhere.
plus, it's an election year so a lot of fundraising going on.
here's hoping for a better lineup next year.
I think I'll send in a donation and stay home this year.

Also- not that you don't know this- but Neil is in the middle of a big tour & uses Bridge as one of his tour dates when that is the case.
