Any Bridge School rumors / news?

I am curious if anyone has heard anything? If PJ may play, or anyone else cool? WI know the website hasn't announced anything official other than dates, but just wondering....

This rumor has long been debunked. Death Cab is playing the Voodoo Festival the weekend of Bridge School.
So are a bunch of other great bands. In fact, the Voodoo Festival not only eliminates any possibility of Death Cab at Bridge School, it also eliminates:
STP
Nine Inch Nails
R.E.M.

In fact, according to the Bridge School site, their "BSN Network" (which looks like some kind of streaming "latest news" broadcast on the Bridge School site) debuts on Monday. What better thing to announce on the first day than the concert lineup?

Well unless I am missing something, death cab doesn't appear on the list from the link provided. Not sure if they were on it and have since removed it. If they are on it please let me know which column?
Looked for them with the search feature and no luck. Also Pollstar still dhows them open that weekend. I am hoping for Eddie or hopefully some of Neil's old friends, maybe Wilco will make a trip out west for this?
You're right, they were removed. According to this they were originally on the line-up but then removed: http://consequenceofsound.net/2008/09/05/voodoo-adds-more-names-to-its-experience/
In that light, I would say Bridge School is a STRONG possibility (maybe a for sure?) for them. No other reason for them to cancel since they are currently touring and no other issues have come up...

WOO-HOO!!!
Not too excited about this, but it wouldn't be disappointing, either. Just kind of meh.

Well unless they can figure out how to be in two places at once... Metallica is already booked for Kansas City & Des Moines on the 2 days of Bridge.

it says in the article that Paul McCartney will be playing this year. You couple that w/Metallica, possibly PJ, Wilco, DCFC, Conor Oberst, etc. on rumors, could be incredible show. Too bad I can't go this year :-(

Thanks for the enlightenment.
And that's good news to me...I kind of like Metallica sometimes, but I could do without them this year.

You did look at the date on that article, right?

Seriously. It was cool that they were there last year, but I can do without back-to-back Metallica at Bridge. Or maybe I can just do without back-to-back Metallica fans at Bridge.
No offense to anyone here, but last year 10,000 people very obviously headed for the exits after their 2d song.
d'oh my bad! I need to read better

Oh please God, NO!
I'm excited! I Hope Metallica will NOT be there though!
I'm glad someone enjoyed it though.
