Some where in the PJ20 Blue Ray I have Jeff Ament discusses the road. I don't really remember now but he brings the film crew there.

According to the movie they are driving east on Highway 200 from Missoula through Lincoln, Great Falls, and ending up in Big Sandy. Then it cuts to them at the sign so some where along that route I would imagine is the sign. According to Mapquest the distance from Missoula to Big Sandy is 242 miles. Let me know when you find it.

I've got a couple of people in MT doing some investigating for me. I know its a long shot still but in my mind would be an amazing picture and worth all this trouble.
