AWESOME peeps on the 10C line... mostly There's always a few knuckleheads, but overall everyone was a blast. Both flight connections in and out of Missoula were pretty much flying on Pearl Jam Air. Thankfully, the awful dent/chip/scrape on the back of my rental was there earlier and noted at the rental agency, even though I didn't notice it because the car was filthy with dirt and mud when I picked it up. Cost me $10 in extra fuel because I was in shock when I saw it and lost track of the half-tank point, but relief was had at the rental counter And some of y'all might have stayed at the 'Master Bates' hotel, but some of us were just at the Bates Motel.... definitely a Perkins wannabee working the counter, and his mom(?) making appearances from time to time :shock:
That said... Elderly was an incredible way to start the night, and jumping for Jeremy in front of the stage was definitely a highlight, as was the killer rendition of Fortunate Son. So much great stuff and, as others have noted, a deeply wonderful feeling to the show throughout... the guys were all just in a really good place (even Sick Eddie) and very happy. And, you had to love Mike getting slow-tackled by Mike Arm during Jams AND KEEPING THE LEAD GOING THROUGHOUT However, as great as Mike was and as fun as the show was, my only disappointment was that it wasn't really a 'Mike' setlist. Not a lot of killer Mike leads in the songs (things like Black, Crazy Mary, and Even Flow were missing), and, with the exception of the encore, he never had 3 or more songs in a row where he could really get into the Shred Zone fully. Don't get me wrong... I LOVED THE SHOW... just sayin'.

i've been distracted from post-show depression for a week. I visited with my family in MT right after the show...so I'm finally home, and I feel so lonely. Even though I got to Missoula on Friday afternoon, and left Monday late morning, it just wasn't enough time.
I like the 'hello' hugs better than the 'goodbye' hugs.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

I didn't hear anything, but I know by the end of the night, I was standing behind a girl who had the number 26 written on her hand...and I didn't wait in line to get in early. When I walked in, They were letting in the general public GA seats.

I don't think so. I read that someone near the head of the line got a list going to keep track of the order really early... there may have been a couple of rabble-rousers who maybe disagreed with the system (probably in some effort to get further up the line on some invented technicalities :roll:), but by and large, it sounds like everyone was happy with how it went down.
