    anybody here use a mac? I can't get it to work. I have flip for mac and he latest version of windows media player installed but when quicktime opens it just says that 'the url is not valid'

    ANy help before the PJ webcast would be great cheers!

    it says that broadcast ends at 10, so 11 EST so that should be 2 hours for sure. i dont know how long they are planning to play for, or how its set up with lollapalooza , but most venues especially outdoor ones have 11:00pm curfews, so we could potentially miss up to an hour of music..

    I have installed flip4mac and the latest windows media player but i still cant get the webcast on my mac, any help? I get 'The Url is not valid'

    Any help would be great thanks!

    Ok i got it sorted, any other mac users tonight trying to get this to work do this...

    A) download flip4mac, to get a link click on Video problems? link on the webcast site, then on the tab at the top of the page that says General Help choose Mac help instead. It gives a link for Flip4mac.

    B) Install flip4mac and restart your web browser and quicktime

    C) Find the flip4mac folder (mine was in applications) and click on the Flip4mac Upgrade icon.

    D) At the bottom there is an option that says something about starting quicktime for video files from the web browser, disable that and.... Oila! Pearl Jam live from Lolla (well in a few hours).

    Good to see you figured it out.. What I'm trying to figure out is how to record it. I've tried a few capture devices from download.com and I still can't get it to work. :/

    My problem now is that the video seems to be slower than the audio, about 60 seconds slower!

    Right click on the image and select zoom.. I wouldn't zoom though because it just stretches the image and looks like shit. Watch it in its natural 100% resolution.

    I think that depends your monitor settings and possibly if it's a widescreen or not.

    The video is only being streamed at a 480 x 270 max resolution. Stretching it to fit a high resolution monitor is not going to make it look better.
