I would gladly pay StubHub prices for some of his other shows... but NYC is through the roof!

great show last night, pretty much the same set as night 1. Neil told some great stories and was in a good mood.

just an observation....there were a ton of older fans, which was expected obviously and I welcomed initially as I thought the crowd would be more respectful and less boneheaded.....NOPE, people who couldnt stop talkin during songs n stories, yelling song requests during Neil stories and the fact people were texting and surfing the web on their giant, bright phones instead of listening to this legend.....really obnoxious. Ushers would tell these people " put your phones away" 2 seconds latter bam right back up and for lond periods of time.

I love tech, but man It must of been better back in the day not to deal with this shit....I mean its fuckin Carnegie Hall

Point of story: Older folks are just as lame in their concert behavior than the young ones

I am giving up on my search for Thursday tix. The price yesterday for a single ticket rose from $250 to now $775 for an obstructed view. People are loving this greatest hits setlist. I now just hope that he returns somewhere near me in 2014 and plays the same set (or close to it). I am so bummed.

Just listening to Howard Stern show from Wednesday and Howard, Fred, and Gary discussing Neil's run @ Carnegie.... Playing tracks, discussing songs.... Howard's a big fan and wants to check him out at Carnegie :). If tickets were reasonable I'd go again tonight

    Uncle Neil is fucking great

It looks like he played even longer last night. Damn I almost pulled the trigger on high price seats but I couldn't justify it. I really hope he comes somewhere reasonably close within the next year and sticks to a similar set.

The versions of 'Down by the River' and ' Cowgirl in the Sand' are long and amazing...

  • On Tuesday I scored front row balcony railing obstructed seats for Neil at Massey Hall this Sunday. They were $100 cheaper per ticket than the seats next to me. I've done obstructed view seats at Massey Hall before, and they've never been truly obstructed view seats. So hoping for the same sort of luck, and can't wait for the show. I've listened to Massey Hall 71 a few times this week and I am really pumped up for this show.

Thank goodness for view obstructed seats being dropped the week of the show. If it were not for the view obstructed seats, I would never have been able to attend this show. Instead of $580 plus for a pair I paid $340. The seats ended up being amazing, and there really wasn't much of an obstruction. Diana Krall opened the show, and i quite enjoyed her set. She played a non typical set for her, trading in Jazz standards for covers of Dylan, Waits, and Zevon. Neil's set was magic, and longer than I thought it would be. He managed to play 21 of the 24 or so tunes he played in NYC, but in one set. As always it was a perfect show by Neil. So glad I just happened to check the Massey Hall website on Tuesday.

Anyone going to the Winnipeg show on the 16th? I was unable to get a poster, and would really love one. If anyone who is going would be willing to pick one up and send it me here in Toronto, I would be most grateful. Paypal of course.

    Posters $35

Ending the show with Long May You Run had me thinking of when Ed played it there.

If there was any Neil song for me to pick for Ed to play at Massey it would have been that song.

Full circle. Check. Hope it comes around again soon.
  • Donation made. Hopefully a poster is on the way. Thank you for the link.

  • Yeah, thanks for the link. I didn't have any cash with me at the show and they didn't take plastic. Much appreciated.
