I'll always look forward to a new Neil & Horse record. Those guys have soul that you just cant invent. Comes from 50+ years of recording together. I really liked Colorado.

Farm Aid will be held on September 25.  No news yet on which venue will host the event.

Didn't see it on this site, but heard on Sirius this morning that it would be held at Alpine Valley.

There's a fantastic timeline show streaming on NYA at the moment - Canterbury House October 16.1969.

The first set went up a few days ago, the second set went up today, and the third set has "coming soon" next to it.

The set lists for the 3 sets are:

There's also a short note about it from Neil... that also mentions that the new album is "done... pressed and ready to go complete with a great film by dhlovelife"  =)

Sure do appreciate these NY update, goldrush!  My ISP is so slow it takes forever to download anything from Neil's site.  Thanks!

I wonder if they bumped the Official Boots in order to fit in this new album in the queue.

Someone asked Neil about the Bootlegs being taken off the schedule. No mention of the new record in this reply, but he did say that everything except Carnegie Hall has been pushed to 2022:

The release schedule on NYA still includes Toast, Noise & Flowers, and ORS Boxes 4 & 5 for this year but I’ll bet half of that gets bumped to 2022 as well.

I appreciate everyone cross posting these updates! I'm a huge NY fan but I haven't pulled the trigger on another subscription service. Its nice to have an idea of what vinyl will be coming soon.

The most important thing is that he chooses the right plant, not the plant that is available.  So far he has made the right choices.

All 3 Canterbury House sets are now available to stream on NYA.

There are also a few replies to letters that hint it could be added to the release schedule

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the NYA upcoming release schedule has been taken down

Has to be OBS 1 or the new NYCH record, right?

Though keeping the rough outline schedule would be nice. It’s interesting to know what they have in the pipeline rather than that Hoff thread with 96 releases listed

I was thinking it may be the Carnegie Hall bootleg.
It could be NYCH - he did say it was “…done, now pressed and ready to go” a few weeks back - but would he be able to push it to the front of the queue when there’s a shortage of vinyl?
I guess we’ll see next week.

Here’s a confusingly cryptic post from Neil.
The Counterfeit Barn is “an amazing listen”… but what is it?

  • My guess is the new album will have a NYA exclusive version, where the song order is different and one song will have unique lyrics to that version.

He did say the new NYCH album is done. Maybe theres a "bootleg" looking version hitting record shops in limited numbers.
