I saw the setlist this morning and thought it was amazing 😄.  I’m glad the show lived up to what looked so good on paper.  I’m seeing them on Aug 16th and can’t wait.  🤘🏻
I don’t know half those songs by name but I know all the words by heart.

Setlists have looked pretty nice so far this tour....21-22 songs so maybe Brian isn't up there rambling as much!  Still can't believe they're playing Chicago the same night PJ playing Wrigley.  Bummed I'll be missing them.

The whole album sounds great now. That bridge in Positive Charge always sounded so strange to me…

I may have 2 tix available for the Philly show if anyone is interested. GA tix for the Fillmore, I think face value is 68$, looks like it’s a bit more now on TM as they’re “last chance tix”. PM if interested

Went to see them last night. There was a 90 minute lightning delay after 4 songs and I didn’t make the restart around 11pm. Looks like I missed a good one.

Here's to the Gaslight Anthem. “Stay Lucky,” guys.

Gaslight Anthem brings its “History Books” tour to the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park on Friday, Aug. 16.  To mark the occasion, the Asbury Park Brewery on Cookman Avenue will release Stay Lucky beer on Thursday, Aug. 15.

“Gaslight Anthem carries along in the tradition of other Asbury music legends before them,” said Bob McLynn, founder of Asbury Park Brewery, in a statement. “We are massive fans here at the brewery, and it has been a dream since we opened to collaborate on a beer with them. I’m gonna drink six of these tonight and listen to ‘Sink or Swim.’ ”

Stay Lucky is a 6.5 percent ABV hazy IPA with aromas of peach and mango, according to the brewery, which described it as “a hoppy beer with haze, low bitterness, mango, tangerine, citrus and a little dank.”

A portion of proceeds from sales will go to Red House Music & Rehearsal Studio, a music school in Point Pleasant.

Stay Lucky is available while supplies last and can only be purchased at the brewery’s tasting room at 614 Cookman Ave. A four-pack of 16-ounce cans is $15.99, and it’s also available on tap.

The name of the beer comes from the Gaslight Anthem’s song on the 2010 “American Slang” album. Band frontman Brian Fallon was a fan of the brewery's Sea Dragon IPA, and the idea of collaborating on a beer started brewing from there.

Joyce Manor and Pinkshift open for Gaslight at the Pony on Friday.

Had a great time at last night’s show.  Happy to be outside near the beach in the summer and makes me sad that we can’t get a proper PJ amphitheater summer tour in the US these days.  The band and Brian sounded great. Loved the setlist and the tight curfew kept Brian’s chit chat to a very pleasant minimum.  It was a really great show.  😄

Absolutely. I really frickin' love this new album, and I wondered if i would ever be able to say that about another TGA album ever again. Very happy they came back strong.

My oldest is at Sea Hear Now tonight.  He’s at the stage for Gaslight Anthem and Bruce just came out to play with them.  They played History Books and American Slang together.
