I don't have a huge problem with what was alledged.....but check out mom. OMG, what a freak....she could have done blackface along with al jolson :shock:

    It is ridiculous that they arrested this woman. First of all it's like they did not even listen to HER, just the idiots who reported her that had no actual first hand knowledge of the situation. The woman says the child NEVER went in the tanning bed and was only with her when she did. Secondly, the kid has no lasting burns, in fact the minor sunburn the girl had (which the mother says came from being outside in the sun) was basically gone by the next day. People need to stop projecting THEIR values on to OTHERS. You don't like tanning beds don't use one, you don't like smoking then don't smoke, you don't like alcohol don't drink, you don't like guns don't buy one, you don't like others infringing on your rights then don't infringe on others.... :fp: I wouldn't take my kids to a tanning bed but I hardly think it's grounds for arrest or abuse, as mentioned the girl could have gotten a worse burn outside playing.... :oops:

    I just saw this story a little while ago. The first thing that came to mind was who knew that Oompa Loopmas were real?

    On the story, yeah it does sound like a misunderstanding but when a kid tells a teacher that mommy took her tanning then they are going to follow up on it, especially considering what the mom looks like it's not like it would be a stretch to believe it.
