I agree completly. Though, College Refs are bad too.

You know it's BAD when they can't even call a basic travel.( when an CYO VOLUNTEER Ref can).

100% agree. If anyone wants to know why, just watch videos of the 2006 finals.

I dont watch B ball but even I know the rules, when I do watch it, I spot different kinds of broken rules, especially travelling, I mean is it one of those rules they let go? I rarely see a dunk that was not a travel, players moving their planted foot etc. :) Why have rules if your not going to enforce them?

And I won't get into that ref who was caught fixing games :nono: :nono: :fp:

NBA ... They should be forced to identify the league as "Sports Entertainment" like the WWF.

Agreed... Holding the ball is ridiculous at times... Like on the weekend, a Sydney bloke had the ball pinned to him and they paid a free against him...

And the Match review committee is a joke...

Soccer (football) is surely up there... But it must be hard when players take dives all the time...

Back in high school, in the student cheering section, me and friends would scream that at the refs if they were making horrible calls. Needless to say, the principal heard us say it one time and she was not happy. Of course, we continued to say it as the season went along if they were making horrendous calls.

Inconsistency is the biggest problem with AFL umpires.
And I agree some of those holding the ball decisions are a joke.
    Also their rough play decisions.

    I always hear: I'm blind! I'm deaf! I wanna be a ref!

I don't watch baseball, but any sport that does not allow instant replay has to have the worst officiating. :!:

The only reason I am tempted to say MLB is because at least the other sports use instant replay much more often (they only use it for home runs!!!!).

nba only uses it for 3pt vs 2pt
    flagrent 2's
and possession at the end of games.

isn't baseball expanding replay use beyond hr calls?

    Soccer (Football) -

If one of the most famous plays of all time involved a guy not getting caught using his hands, that's some bad officiating....

Plus 1 Ref for the whole field

I heard MLB is going to expand but not sure when or how.

For NBA, call travelling and I'll be happy!

Off-side is often their call :P ... and if a ref doesn't have a clear view he will usually ask their opinion on a play

NBA is by far the worst. So much flopping going on and somehow the refs can't spot it when everyone else in the world can.

Wha wha?! When did they start allowing it? Friends of mine who are huge baseball fans complain on a regular basis that they don't allow it. :?:

Do the refs review plays and all that good stuff?
