Name the first player born in the 1990s to appear in a major league game. Hint, he tied a record (held by many) belting a homer in his first at bat and drove in a first-game record six runs.
Mike Trout?
No.
Another hint: In many fans eyes, he will always be a star.
Hint #2
In many fans eyes, he has all the talent in the world, and an I.Q. of a grapefruit.
Stop. Dude has always been solid

Gotta agree with Speedy on this one. Talented player but a complete bonehead more often than I cared for. He drove me nuts on the basepaths. Always looking back over his shoulder instead of ahead to his base coach. Not paying attention on defense. Etc. But when he was on, he was on!
Ok, since 3 of us know the answer, are we going to wait for a non cub fan to answer it?
wasn't Puig then either?

Did Bernie Williams ever win the MVP? That's my guess.
Edit: I honestly can't think of any switch hitting people in the AL other than Williams. The NL was loaded with switch hitters. Mickey mantle is the only other switch hitter I can even think of that played in the AL

Vida Blue won the AL MVP in 1971, going 24-8 with a 1.82 ERA, 8 shutouts, and 301 K's. He was also a switch-hitter and batted .118 with a double and 2 RBI that year . The DH rule was adopted in the AL 2 seasons later.
Degen, Mickey Mantle is the only other switch-hitter to have won the AL MVP, doing so 3 times.

I actually have been told that question a couple of times before. I didn't get right the first time if that matters.

Eddie murray, mickey mantle, Bernie williams.......and apparently vida blue. Any other good switch hitters that played predominantly in the AL?

I didn't recall Tex being a switchie .... interesting
Who has the longest name in MLB history? (Last name)
Mickey Morandini doesn't seem like it would be long enough. But every time I see or hear the name, I think of the Phillies long time broadcaster Harry Kalas saying it.
