Last season? Not sure if it counts, but the marlins "home" series last June was played in Seattle because of a U2 show at their stadium.

Were they listed as the home team? And if so, did they bat first? I'm guessing the answer to one of those questions is no

Also happened with a Marlins/Mariners game recently since U2 was playing a concert at the Marlins' stadium and that probably drew more people than the three games would have.

i believe in these cases, philly was technically the home team even tho it was in toronto....

so the home team batting first is pretty tough..

    how about.....

name the 4 times that a team has had 4 players with 4+ rbi's in a single game......

it happened today for the 4th time....so that should give you a hint on one of the occurances

^agreed....anyways, up until 1950 the home team could select to bat first or second. way back when it was decided by a coin flip....but then they gave home team the choice, and generally speaking, the home team took last at bats.

i did find a box score and write up from a 1908 cubs game where the cubs took first at bat, but i can't verify if it was the last time or not....

    Two questions:

    1. Who are the only two players to hit two home runs in one inning from both sides of the plate?

    2. Who is the only player to hit two grand slams in one inning?
    Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

    Good questions.

Not sure about the first one.

I think it was Fernando Tatis(not sure the last name is spelled right). 3rd-baseman for the Cardinals & i think he hit them BOTH off the same pitcher? Chan Ho Park.
