I haven't given up hope on a 3rd NJ show either, but it doesn't look promising. This just shows once again, that JERSEY sucks donkey balls.

JERSEY can sell out 30 consecutive nights for Bruce Springsteen but can't even sell out 2 Pearl Jam shows fast enough to warrant a 3rd show being added. Bunch of losers.

Nah. not really. yea Camden is located in New Jersey, but it's not really JERSEY Jersey if you know what I mean. Camden is basically a ghetto part of Philly seperated by a small body of water.

Camden is actually starting to re-build and add new condos etc..but mostly it is still a lower-income community. people in Camden aren't buying tickets to Bruce or Bon Jovi. Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg, yea maybe.

It's all the posers in Central and NORTH Jersey who buy tickets for Bruce and Bon Jovi. apparently Pearl Jam isn't big enough for them.

Or maybe the problem is PJ wasn't big in the 1980's like Bruce and Bon Jovi so people in Jersey don't get too excited over that.

An NIT pool? lololol. Yeah, dude, lol, that's something. I owe you a natty for that. Hey? Didn't I owe you a case for some other bet? I can't remember. I think I failed to oblige on 3/3, so I'll have to hook a brotha up 5/27. So, yeah.

Gambling. DUDE. Check out bullet #9 in this post. It's Pearl Jam in CincyNatty-related.

Nice. Luckily I don't really gamble in casinos anymore. I used to get comped all the time in college because when I was bartending I was making 6-7 benjamins a week at least and that's way too much money for a college student. I would go to AC (45 minutes away from Philly) once a week.

Now I pretty much limit myself to pools, fantasy leagues and online football betting.

funny story, i bought a brand new civic in april of '04...
on or about july/august of '04, im sitting at my desk and our intern law student (who is obnoxious and annoying among many other things) comes in the office and announces "does someone have a black civic"? im thinking this is a joke bc hes so freaking annoying and he likes to hear himself talk....

i claim my car and he proceeds to tell me, and the rest of the office, that the lawn people just fucking ran into my BRAND NEW car with the fucking lawnmower (one of those big ass commercial ones)!

i was pisssssssssssssed...so i go outside and the front of my car, which was parked in the PARKING LOT minding its own business, is smashed in....

to make a long story short, my car got fixed, eventually, had to drive around a shitty loaner car which i refused to fill w/gas, but my car will never be the same :(

moral of the story, come near my car on 5/27 and 5/28 and youll have a problem!

My aunt was probably working in the maternity ward. She's an obstetrician and worked at Lourdes for a couple of years before I was born before she moved to Boston.

My aunt was probably working in the maternity ward. She's an obstetrician and worked at Lourdes for a couple of years before I was born before she moved to Boston.

No way? Was she there in 1975? How wierd would that be if she was there when I was?

I'm almost positive. She worked in Philly when she first came to the country and then at Lourdes and then moved to Boston the summer before I was born.

Hahahaha...ding, ding, ding...we have a winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (It's actually called "Our Lady of Lourdes" hospital, but I'll let you slide)

Both of my kids were born there. Because of its location and the type of hospital it is, they get a lot of really young mothers (13-15 yrs old)in there giving birth. When we were there for our first, I was like WTF! These kids were in the labor and delivery rooms screaming their headf off. I'd see them later walking with their babies and i couldn't believe how young they were. My daughter was born early and had to spend her first few days in the NICU. There were so many "crack babies" in incubators in the unit. The babies were like 8" long. One died while we were there feeding our daughter. The baby was the size of a small shoe. No one (parents) was there for it. Damn, I'm getting freaked out now recalling it. i've got to stop. Man i hope everything goes well for us in August because i want no parts of that unit ever again. It's so sad. The people that work there are amazing individuals and thank God they're strong enough to do it. I almost passed out just being in there.
