    3) Again, the Cincy CCFA pre-party is at the Beer Sellar, which is on a floating barge that shares deckspace with Hooters. Between Hooters & the Beer Sellar is a large outside wooden deck, with a risen stage between them (I'm assuming that's where the PJ tribute band will be). All of this with the Cincy skyline in the background. WE have the "Beer Barge" to take our black asses across the river & to the show.

The BEER BARGE has a bar on it. You can get a beer or whatever and go on the observation deck. I'm sure they'll be playing Pearl Jam. :D

It is hard to believe that it is over already (for me) but even harder to believe that I'm glad. Don't get me wrong...I'm still a huge fan. They are by far my favorite band. I've become somewhat overly critical now which is ashame. I didn't used to be like this VW. I was much more like you, which was better. Never lose your spirit. I envy you.
i think its all kind of bittersweet. coming off this weekend (and last) theres still a certain amount of energy, especially when i listen to the boots. at the same time, im exhausted, i cannot fathom what it would be like to go to more shows this week-though sure to be a great time, everyone has their breaking point. i can only imagine how they feel playing all of the shows and traveling around as much as they do. they deserve to have the next 3 weeks off. it must be hard on the families. i think im ok with not going to the pitt and cincy shows. id love to go but id like to think i have a life outside of all of this pearl jam madness. ill certainly have my party pants ready for the GORGE! :)

You may think I'm nuts, but flights to Hawaii in December are 640 and for an additional 100 bucks you get a flight to Kahului where the A&B Amphitheatre is in Maui where they played last time during the Yield tour.

    Start saving now everybody. ;)

Not me. I am officially done. I had a great time, but this was the hardest tour for me ever. You should have seen the look on my daughter's face last Friday night when she found out I was going to another show...the next day. You would have thought I told her our dog died. It broke my heart.

I'm ending on a high note. Last Saturday was a great show. I can't say that about every one I've seen this tour. Ed has changed too. I love almost all of there songs but I can only hear the same ones so many times at the shows...and in the same order too. The main set was very repetitive throughout the leg.

The first three songs on 6/1 and 6/3 were identical. I didn't realize that on Saturday. Why do you think that was done? Was it a test for the crowd? The two shows were VERY different. Like I had said before, I could have easily missed Thursday's show. It was not one of their best and the crowd was lousey. That used to be unheard of for a New York area gig. I respect Ed because he left nothing back and did the best he could. He was just so tired and the lame crowd didn't give him the boost he so desperately needed.

You will have a great time on this second leg. It will be interesting to read about as it plays out. They will pull out some more old material and maybe actually play it if they receive any feedback from this leg. Their sound is still great. Jeff just totally amazes me. I never appreciated him enough...No more. He is the man.

My highlights from my past 6 shows:

Dancing to Come Back with my wife
    all of you
    Low Light
    Ed's rage on 5/28
    Rats
    Sleight of Hand
    Army Reserve
    Man of The Hour
    Mike on Ed's shoulders
    Lukin into Leash
The Washington show overall, great venue, location, set list, poster, etc.
    the green lasers
    and everything else

I will be content to listen to my new bootlegs for a while at least...until I get the bug again. Hopefully I will. I am concerned that when the next opportunity arrives, I'll jump on it not because I'll really want to go, but because I'll be concerned that I'll regret it if I don't. That is not the right way to go into it.

    I didn't even buy a shirt.

I wish I was going out west with you all. You are all aware that you will see two incredible shows. Those shows will put all that you've seen recently to shame. You deserve that for your commitment.

    Wow...what a post!!

Those highlights are great! I just listened to Sleight of Hand this morning and I had forgotten how great that was!!

I agree with you on the main set list, especially now after going back and listening to the boots.

Like you said, Im still a huge fan and love going to see them live any chance I get, but besides wanting to see probably the best band of my era, my main reason, right up there with seeing the show, now would be to hang out with all of you good people that Ive met because of this band. I think that is what sticks out most for me from this tour. I had a blast in Camden with everyone, and Albany and Hartford and road tripping and meeting up with everyone those two nights was the best!! I cant wait to go to the Gorge and hang out with everyone!

Yikes....and how much is a hotel gonna cost?!?!!?!?

Oh, and it was Cincinnati that is omitted from the back of the program. The other shows listed on there that havent been announced in some way is Auckland.

I would love to hit the natti... I have some money floating around but until I get an estimate on windows and a door for my house that's off limits. Think I might just count my blessings and get ready for VEGAS and the Gorge, but I know with everyone that is going to cincy that it will be a great time and a great show.
I have to say that hanging out with everyone before shows and somewhat after has been the most memorable experience for me of the tour. And that's what makes me want to see more shows.

Hmmm Hawaii.... wonder how I could work that in :D

Cincy is 630 miles away from New York City.

If you walk at a constant rate of 4 mph for 10 hours a day you will arrive at the Natti in approximately 16 days. You will arrive with plenty of time to tailgate for the show.

Nah, I don't buy boots anymore. It's my personal protest because of the no physical bootleg cds which is a big f u to the dial-up community.

    I'll hear it eventually.

Besides I just lived the shows. Eventually like 6 or 7 months from now I'll listen to the bootlegs again to rekindle my memories.
