I think I'm gonna reserve my room just to have it. If we opt to stay elsewhere or change days, its no problem since you dont pay anything until you get there.....

Nah, I'm waiting. It's only a few more weeks. Not like my life will change if I hear a new song early.

You know, the first three songs on riot act are okay and then it goes off into suckland. Yikes. Lost Dawwwwwwwgs is pretty good, tho, so I'm listening to that.

And Grace - I think the new album is very YIELD-like. I'd put it ahead of riot act and Vitalogy. Big Wave is the only throw-away. Gone is the son of IN HIDING.

    1. who high fives anymore? (answer: frat boys. :))
    2. re: the album- yes it is totally yield-y. although personally i dont see a connection between in hiding and gone other than i fucking love them both.

Dude I owe you beers on the 27th/28th for that post. This has turned into the East Coast Gorge thread fast. No one cares about Camden anymore. I can't say that I blame them...the Gorge is way more exciting...but I feel like that poor dude from the movie "Escape From Alcatraz" that get left behind after Clint Eastwood and his two buddies made their brake and escaped. I'm left here in my cell looking at my air vent with tears in my eyes.

Ok.. that's about what I'm getting. And not worried about the shuttle since I'm figuring on renting a car when I arrive on friday.
We should think about who's renting cars and what not so that there isn't like 5 rental cars with 3 people in each :D

WE should visit the site of SINGLE VIDEO THEORY. Great idea.

I think Ramada Seatac is the place! I'll call AAA and see what they got. I'm glad ya'll settled on it; it's by the airport so i'm sure it's fine.

i can totally help you guys with that. becks519 and i reviewed SVT thoroughly and then used the ginormous space needle as a reference point. we narrowed it down to 4 quadrants of 4 blocks each and just covered ground until we found it. i hyperventilated and totally freaked the fuck out and becks was there to lend a shoulder and then point and laugh at me in all of my patheticness. definitely worth a trip. i've got the address so lemme know if you want it.

Come Back is 2006, and YIELD was 1998; so this means that Come Back is better than anything on YIELD. Come Back is very good, but i don't think it's that good, ha.

Marker in the Sand is total YIELD. And Grace, the parallel between Gone and IN HIDING is the soaring Ed vocals in the chorus!

you were supposed to sign my ass on 10/3, dont think i forgot...

but like i was saying ;)

i think it should be added to the YFC charter that visiting the home of SVT is like going to mecca. once at the building members are required to walk around it once and then stand out front and sing faithfuLL, then they will truly be accepted by the YFC council

visiting the home of SVT/yield was a personal pilgrimage. no fucking joke.

additionally i'd like to add that the fact that i have made such a haj and yet i am still denied a spot on the YFC govening council is total and utter bullshite.
