I think I've made my position known many times on this issue.
You're against NAFTA? How un-Republican of you. However, I applaud because I'm against it too. I'm from a labor family, so yeah, I don't like it when jobs are outsourced for $0.50/hour so that we lose good labor jobs making $20/hour.
Of course, teh knee-jerk conservative comeback is always "it's the free market!" blah blah blah. Yeah, it's the free market if we can sell our goods down there. The small business person can't get their goods into Mexico or China; they won't let you.
If anyone can tell me why it's good for America to lose jobs so we can pay $0.80 for a dozen coathangers at Walmart, well, I'm ready to listen.
im not 100% against it, just some of its practices and STUPID laws. i wrote many papers about it in college, the whole MTBE and NAFTA issue irks me beyond belief....ugh, i wont get into it
im all for globalization and the free market economy, big businesses once started out as small businesses so i dont feel sorry for the small businesses, you have to fight your own battles as far as im concerned.

Easy Street isn't really close to downtown, but it's definately a cool place to visit. I walked in was my jaw dropped when I saw how small of a place it was that they played.

2:08 pm Depart Seattle (SEA) connect in Dallas and then
Arrive Philadelphia (PHL) 12:55 am
im not taking that flight home, thats an extra day of work id have to miss since it gets in tuesday morning
byt the time id get home from the airport itd probably be close to 3am

Easy Street isn't really close to downtown, but it's definately a cool place to visit. I walked in was my jaw dropped when I saw how small of a place it was that they played.

You know, the first three songs on riot act are okay and then it goes off into suckland. Yikes. Lost Dawwwwwwwgs is pretty good, tho, so I'm listening to that.
And Grace - I think the new album is very YIELD-like. I'd put it ahead of riot act and Vitalogy. Big Wave is the only throw-away. Gone is the son of IN HIDING.
I havent really talked with Sean about when we were heading out to Seattle. I myself am planning on a Friday - Sunday trip just so I cut back on my vacation days. Im not a Sox or Mariners fan so I dont really care about going to the game, although it would be cool to see another stadium.
