I think it has a different meaning. It's a giant picture of the guy's right hand, not of another woman.

i like new balance. N makes a great wide sneaker. does reebok even fit a big wide foot? i have not ever found a reebok shoe that fits me well, this pretty much includes Nike too.

the add i think is a few things; it's funny, stupid, dumb and sharp. it will prove to be a success.

I'd go barefoot before supporting a company with this kind of no-class attitude!

All of this makes me glad that when I was in City Sports, I spent my $$$ on a pair of Mizunos.

Now this is a fine running shoe.

Someone needs to tell Rush Limbaugh about this campaign so he can make a bigger ass of himself.

really though, that is a terrible ad campaign - I wonder what firm accepted thousands (if not millions) of Reebok's $'s to come up with that crap.

the others are for people wanting to cheat.

i'd be willing to bet that close to 100% of the males on that site are the "generous users" while all the females are the "attractive" aka: escort users.

I'm not into the marketing fitness as "extreme" with the crossfit thing. If you ever watched it and are into fitness it would make you cringe. Bad message. Excercise should not be handled as an extreme sport...very unhealthy. And the cheat on your girlfriend thing is pretty self explanatory.

Apparantly alot of people were offended by it and Reebok was so embarrassed about it they lied for a week knowing about it and then issued a statement doing a 180 degree turn. This after coming off a 25 million dollar lawsuit in the fall for lying to consumers. These are essentially the reasons for my post. Just getting the info out there is all. :D

I guess I don't get all the upraor over that ad, there has been a lot worse. The message I got from it was that you wouldn't cheat on your girlfriend, so why would you cheat on yourself and your workout - that it should be important to you.

Speaking of the crossfit, a friend of mine brought it up over the weekend and said she was going to try it out. I think I did a good job of convincing her to really research it before she just threw herself into it!
