Godfather.

you all know I am not a Obama supporter but I have to wonder if the oil companys or someone else in government is raising gas prices at this critical time to undermine Obama's re-election....I know I know it sounds like friday night at the movies but it's just a thought.

what are you but my reflection? who am i to judge or strike you down?
"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank." - Barack Obama
when you told me 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em'
i was thinkin 'death before dishonor'
still cheaper to buy gas than coca-cola ... you want cheaper gas? ... stop using it likes it's tap water and stop funding wars overseas ...
there is plenty of innovation right now ... the fact you don't think there is - is a clear sign the power greed and corruption have ...
Well, one thing for sure that will happen.... people will actually *think* about their consumption, driving habits and whether to buy an SUV or smaller car, or better yet a hybrid. AND they will *think* that, gee, perhaps going green isn't such a bad idea and that maybe we shouldn't be relying on oil...
Tell that one to Fox News Godfather.
Because it happens every election year.
I agree especially the part about funding ....and i take it you ride your bike to work everyday ....
actually ... i ride my bike about 10 months of the year ... the other 2 i take transit ... i do own a car ... but i've put 80,000 km over 8 years and most of that is to do long road trips up to Superior or somewhere camping ...
Not an untrue statement. How about easier to apply innovation?
As in enough so that more companies are getting things to market etc etc.
access to market is not the issue ... the problem is that the game is fixed and the big corporations (in this case - oil companies) dictate the rules ... you can't compete against an industry that is able to garner huge tax subsidies, avoid paying penalties, and can force a company into war ...
I wish i could do the same but ihave to commute 30miles each way to work biking is not an opption ....
It's pretty clear to me Obama wants gas to be even more expensive so we can switch to the green stuff.
decided it's time to bring back my Obama sticker on my truck. I often see Obama stickers on Prius and such but I like mine better.
I'm back. You're welcome.
Looks like a picture of a white guy there that you are calling a dope. Next time you decide to put a poster on the rear of your car, make sure you know who's in the picture.
It's got to be around 80-90 bucks to fill that thing up.

I gotta tell you man, that guy on your truck looks as much like Reagan as it does Obama.
I don't have any stickers on my Prius but if I did have one it would say "PJ 20".
I know there is a snobbish Prius mentality- believe me, I've seen it- but I bought mine because the savings in gas made it affordable (in fact I'll save money on this vehicle over the long run) it use less petroleum than almost any car out there and knowing my car will run at least 300,000 miles and last me at least 20 years-- I'm happy with that.
As for the price of gas affecting how people vote- if that were the only criteria on which a person could chose their vote, I would stay home. Now if someone running for office said, "If you elect me I will not lie to you about how we should try to continue our unsustainable way of living. I am going to do everything I can to increase walkable communities and disassemble our unsustainable suburbs, get us on track with developing cleaner, renewable energy sources improve our mass transit- especially trains- and encourage Americans to produce and consume only durable goods- that person would get my vote".
I know- dream on.
-Eddie Vedder, "Smile"
you drive a big ol' truck and whine about gas prices...
life is full of choices...
you've made yours...
NOW who's the DOPE!.....

welcome back my friend !
Godfather.
I showed this pic to my hubby... he thought the pic was of George Bush.
My bet is on 120-135 bucks.
Mamasan?
i would guess that the truck has a 30 gallon capacity x $4.44 = ~$133 ... but that's at empty so you're probably not far off ...
I say it all the time. Drive what you want, but don't bitch about gas prices or insurance or tire costs...
