    The day of the st pattys day parade in Chicago is one of my favorite days of the year. The fact that it actually falls on a Saturday this year makes it even better. Saturday is going to be a mess.

    I think last year I made it until about 11 pm. Pretty solid performance. The key is to go back to someone's place during the day and then go back out at night. Supposed to be nice out Saturday so I think we are going to hang on my buddys rooftop in Bucktown after the morning session at the bar.

    That is quite impressive!!

    I wanted to go to the Southside parade last weekend...always had a blast at that one...but I heard that it was going to be crack-down city so we didn't even bother. I wonder how it went!

    I'm having a bad Friday already (it's only 8:20 a.m.), and the only thing getting me through this is knowing tomorrow's going to be a day filled with my favourite Irish beers & whiskeys.

    There's a huge parade and craziness not far from here but it's more than this old fella cares to deal with nowadays. I will be procuring a big ol bag of crawfish, boiling them bastards and drinking beer at the house with a few friends
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    Usually I go and see a Flogging Molly show around St. Patty's Day, but they're not going to be in the area this weekend, so I guess I'll just sit at home with some Shamrock Shakes. :mrgreen:
