I think last year I made it until about 11 pm. Pretty solid performance. The key is to go back to someone's place during the day and then go back out at night. Supposed to be nice out Saturday so I think we are going to hang on my buddys rooftop in Bucktown after the morning session at the bar.

I wanted to go to the Southside parade last weekend...always had a blast at that one...but I heard that it was going to be crack-down city so we didn't even bother. I wonder how it went!

I miss marching on 5th ave . Started going to the parade in the 70's & marched almost 20 times there .

I'm having a bad Friday already (it's only 8:20 a.m.), and the only thing getting me through this is knowing tomorrow's going to be a day filled with my favourite Irish beers & whiskeys.

There's a huge parade and craziness not far from here but it's more than this old fella cares to deal with nowadays. I will be procuring a big ol bag of crawfish, boiling them bastards and drinking beer at the house with a few friends

Usually I go and see a Flogging Molly show around St. Patty's Day, but they're not going to be in the area this weekend, so I guess I'll just sit at home with some Shamrock Shakes.
