Absolutely, her right to do so with much bravity. I once had to defend PJ on a Rush forum as to why I liked them. They gave their reasons why they did not care for PJ in a way I understood and I gave mine as to why I did care for their music and the thread prospered. 8-)

i'm in the 10c & the metclub. i'm listening to bbc magnetic 9/14/08 while i type. what metallica has done & a lot of the music they've made is some of my favorite. it got me through a lot. i went through a phase when i didnt like them & then rediscovered them later on. what is ice cream to some is shit to others. i think its the katy perry thing is funny. she was married to russel brand who was in get him to the greek with lars ulrich-who also sued children. look at the state of music. sad from what it once was.... metallica fucking rock! sure it's a little more of a dude thing, but there are female fans, too. the last show i went to, some dude brought his 8 year old. 30 years of metallica. james is sober, layne staley was one of the main inspirations behind death & beyond magnetic, lars was actually right about downloading. that's probably why ticket prices partially went up. i like every record that they've done. lulu is interesting...i've got all the old 12" singles & collect their vinyl. 4 magazines a year, a free t-shirt, a photo/letter signed by a member, a signed photo, special stuff, contests, every show from 03, some old ones with artwork. they still kickass live! next year-3d metallica! it's cool nobody is being harsh... more shoes...shoes for my friends....

Metallica pre 1990 is pure awesome...after that well I just pretend they broke up so I don't have to associate that other crap with one of my fav bands. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt :p

  • Just saw that Metallica will play at Heavy Montreal on the weekend of August 8 to 10. I'm so disappointed that I will be unable to make it.

CONCUR. The "Live Sh*T Binge and Purge" box set was amazing too!!

Last night, Metallica played in Lima, Peru for only the 2nd time ever. The tour is as part of their "Metallica by Request" Tour, where the fans vote for the songs they want to hear. While the majority of the shows have almost identical setlist, the setlist for the Peru show is their most unique one on the tour and their most unique in years. No Sad But True, no Nothing Else Matters and no For Whom the Bell Tolls. It's really hard to believe.

I apologize. I meant For Whom the Bell Tolls. I don't know how I didn't catch this error.

Voting for May and June shows of the "Metallica by Request" Tour ends today. Unless there's an abrupt change, there's a very strong chance that Metallica will play The Frayed Ends of Sanity in its entirety for the first time EVER at Helsinki, Finland on May 28. I'm very happy to hear that. It also looks like that Metallica will play St. Anger at all Germany shows as well as Denmark.

I was part of it the first year and I'm pretty sure I renewed but I haven't heard about anything for year 2 yet.

I did the first year and renewed also. I just did it where they ship all 4 singles at the same time. The first year there was a little more communication from them about it because they were so far behind on shipping them out. Haven't heard anything this year so hopefully everything is going out on schedule.

2024. OK, guys. If there was ever a tour to wait on buying it's the second leg of this one.
