    In some professions you get your ass locked up for telling a little," I am a tough guy" white lie like that...He will be forgiven and given a award for comeback journalist of the year....

    More importantly, just checked my email and learned that AC/Dc just confirmed For sept 15 at Wrigley with ANOTHER band to play the next night. There were 3 bands listed in my work request as possibles...hopefully Theo gets his way and the boys are willing and Free.

    Journalistic integrity is probably the entire key to democracy in modern society....so seeing so many people giving the guy a pass based on the fact that our TV news is bullshit anyway doesn't sit well with me. This should be the start of a push for integrity and accountability, not accepting defeat en masse.

    Now that the bar has been set, me thinks there will be a shortage of broadcasters in a few weeks! Both CNN and Fox will have to hire hobos off the street to replace the ranks.

    Agreed. Like Jon Stewart said, "Finally, someone is being held to account for misleading America about the Iraq War!" I give him a pass though, for the sake that he is a lone scapegoat here. You don't see NBC taking a fall, and you certainly won't see FoxNews taking a fall. They're all guilty.

    I will being doing some stuff a few days before and day of, but will be rocking out for the show, unless I get a peach of a gig and get to follow the band....that show is going 2 be so awesome!!!

    Lara Logan is someone who should never work in news again. nor should anyone who ginned up the threat that iraq posed. you knowingly lie in a news report and people die, you never report news again. that is how i see it anyway.

    If he was an actual reporter or journalist I would agree. But Brian Williams is (was) just a news anchor, no? He just reads the news from a teleprompter.

    If he was an actual reporter or journalist I would agree. But Brian Williams is (was) just a news anchor, no? He just reads the news from a teleprompter.
    He is also something like the lead editor for the networks news division. I think that's a big deal

    I should've amplified my statement by saying that his "on air" career is over. He will never have facetime with the public again. He will get work behind the scenes of newscasts just never involved with a camera.
