Just Breathe - Tired Of It

I quite liked the song when Backspacer came out - Now I find it far too syrupy, even more so, now they are playing it live at nearly every show. The End is so much better, and there are so many better Pearl Jam ballads that they could play at the beginning of Encore 1 (Dead Man, Man of The Hour, Parting Ways, Off He Goes, Soon Forget, All Or None to name a few)

I'm hoping that they mix the sets up more come Europe. The South American shows were too similar each night. I'd prefer them to play Just Breathe in the middle of the main set, rather to start an encore. Shows have got too predictable since Backspacer came out I think.2000: Manchester
2006: Dublin; Leeds; Arnhem

one of the best songs ever old son imo and dont forget some of those songs you mentioned have been doing the rounds for a fair few years [and long may they continue to do so ]so a bit of new blood is great ....have some beer listen to all those tunes and then have some more beer for a great song ....just breath :thumbup: :thumbup:0

imho I would take Just Breathe over Black, Why Go or Corduroy. (I'm pretty sure they've played the last two every time I've seen them)
But that's the great thing about their setlists & music, if they play a song you don't like, odds are good the next tune will kick your ass!0 -
i cant get tired of it.
its just a fantastic song0 -

Can't get tired of it.. because I never liked it to begin with :oops: :oops: I would take Last Kiss over Just Breathe and I don't even like Last Kiss :silent:
Of their slower repertoire, I love Black, Sometimes, Thin Air and Off He Goes. Oh, and Thumbing My Way (thanks Dr. Delight)

My least favorite track off that album. Actually, its one of the worst songs from the last couple of albums.
So cheesy. A song like "Thumbing My Way" should smack the shit out of it.And so you see, I have come to doubt

It's a very good song, but getting tired of it especially while listening to the recent boots. Kinda like 'No More' with the 08 boots.0

Well, everyone is entitled to feel how they will about it but I'm not tired of it!
And, I think it's a beautiful song.Post edited by justam on&&&&&&&&&&&&&&0 -

Then, didn't like it as much, but now it is back up there with me...
I do agree that the end is a better song...Sydney 11/02/2003

I actually think just breathe and the end are both pretty terrible songs. Just breathe sounds like a cheesy sappy love song to me, and the end sounds like a cheesy depressing song that comes off sounding forced.5/28/06, 6/27/08, 10/28/09, 5/18/10, 5/21/10
