Hey I was at that game too!

I drove 7+ hours each way to get there and back in a day. Probably the dumbest thing I've done travel-wise but it was well worth it!

You went to the 2 games in Edmonton in 1983? I am impressed.

I was at that US Open match too...great stuff. I need to edit my post to include that one.
My dad was at the Sampras-Corretja US Open Quarterfinal where Sampras vomited & went on to win the match. I didn't make it to that one.

Historic no. Memorable to me, yes.
It also got me a chance to have a Keystone Light with the legendary Spaceman Bill Lee.

How about the one i missed?
Randy Johnson's perfect game in atlanta.

I was meeting a friend from out of town and we were headed down to the game. We stopped at a bar to get a drink and while there out of no where my recurring corneal erosion flared up. Its painful as hell and the only thing i want to do when it happens is lay with my eyes closed in a dark room.

So i did not go to the game. :(
    I suck

ouch. that really blows. sorry to hear that. RJ was my favorite pitcher growing up. was he on the Dbacks that year?
