Is up on my house...
We have been in it exactly 10 years... Two of my kids have never known another house... One of them was conceived in it... We literally redid every room in it...

It was the first house I saw when we started looking and fell in love with it... The lakefront did it...
It is the first HOUSE I lived in... Apartments before that...

But it's time for a change for all of us... and change has always been good...
Going to miss it and all the friends we made...

Wow man, congrats! Are the kids excited?

Hopefully soon I will get to say that too!

There already is a kid that lives in the house with me...why would I want MORE messes to clean up?

Good luck to you. It's better to do it when the kids are still fairly young. My dad wanted us to move to Virginia when he got transferred to DC, but year after year, one of us (5) all got closer to graduation and he didn't want to take any of us out at that time.

He ended up commuting to DC for 18 years before he retired. Yikes!

Yeah that's what I am doing now... NJ to FL every Monday and home on Friday... I miss them terribly... I offered to keep doing it, because I know they love it there but they miss me more... that feels good :D

And luckily I have already met some amazing people ... through this board...
