I need help! I am looking to book a hotel. Is the Stratosphere a pretty good hotel to stay at? And how is it location wise?

You do NOT want to be walking to the Stratosphere after dark trust me. The area from the RIviera to the Stratospehere has kind of become a dead area especially with the Shahara closing and is filled wih shady characters. Try to find something further up the strip. A comparable priced place to the Stratposphere is The Ecalibuy and it's alot safer, closer to the Palms, and is alot closer to the heart of the strip.0 -

That is a very good deal but the only bad thing with the Rio is you would need to get a cab if you wanted to check out the strip. I guess technically you could walk but it's a good little distance and the roads that you need to cross are quite hectic in that area. Where's drummerboy73 when you need him?
